Էմիլի Ռատակովսկին դատապարտել է Էնդրյու Դոմինիկի` Մերիլին Մոնրոյի մասին կենսագրական ֆիլմը՝ «կանացի ցավը ֆետիշացնելու համար»։ Մոդելը կիսվել է իր կարծիքով իր անձնական բլոգի բաժանորդների հետ։

Ռատակովսկին բաժանորդներին խոստովանել է, որ դեռ չի դիտել «Շիկահերը» ֆիլմը, սակայն նշել է, որ չի կասկածում, որ այն դիտելուց հետո կզայրանա։ Մոդելի խոսքով՝ այս ֆիլմը, ինչպես Մերլին Մոնրոյի մասին ցանկացած այլ ֆիլմ, «ֆետիշացնում է կանացի ցավը»։ Ռատակովսկին հայտարարել է, որ «հասարակությունը սիրում է ֆետիշացնել կանանց ցավը» և օրինակ է բերել այնպիսի կանանց, ինչպիսիք են Էմի Ուայնհաուսը, Բրիթնի Սփիրսը և արքայադուստր Դիանան։

«Մեր ողջ հասարակությունը սիրում է ֆետիշացնել կանանց ցավը։ Մենք պարզապես տարված ենք մահացած աղջիկներով և սերիական մարդասպաններով: Ժամանակի ընթացքում ես սովորեցի ֆետիշացնել սեփական ցավս: Ես հավատում եմ, որ 2022 թվականին մենք պետք է անտանելի դառնանք։ Մենք բոլորս պետք է զայրանանք»,- ասել է Էմիլին։
