Ադրբեջանի հետ մահացու բախումներից հետո Հայաստանն ավելի շատ աջակցություն «գտավ» ԱՄՆ-ի մոտ, քան իր դաշնակից Ռուսաստանի։

Ամերիկյան Fox News հեռուստաալիքն այսպես է նկարագրել Հայաստանի շուրջ ստեղծված իրավիճակը վերջին իրադարձություններից հետո՝ ներկայացնելով Հայաստանի անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղար Արմեն Գրիգորյանի հետ հարցազրույցը:

Fox News-ի փոխանցմամբ՝ Հայաստանի պաշտոնյաները «անհանգստացած են», որ Ռուսաստանը շարունակում է զենք մատակարարել Հայաստանի հակառակորդին՝ Ադրբեջանին։

Անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղար Արմեն Գրիգորյանը, ով անցած շաբաթ մի շարք կարևոր հանդիպումներ է ունեցել ԱՄՆ-ում, այդ թվում՝ ԱՄՆ նախագահի ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդականի, պաշտպանության նախարարության և Կենտրոնական հետախուզական գործակալության բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաների հետ, Fox News-ին ասել է, որ Ռուսաստանի կողմից Ադրբեջանին զենք մատակարարելը «նորություն չէ», դա «երկար պատմություն» է, որի մասին Հայաստանը խոսել է Մոսկվայի հետ։

«Սա հանրային տեղեկատվություն է։ Այո դա ճիշտ է: Եվ սա մեզ շատ է անհանգստացնում։ Դա ինչ-որ նոր բան չէ»,- Ադրբեջանին ռուսական զենք մատակարարելու մասին ասել է Արմեն Գրիգորյանը։

Հարցազրույցի ընթացքում ԱԽ քարտուղարը խոսել է նաև սեպտեմբերի 13-14-ին Ադրբեջանի կողմից իրականացված ռազմական ագրեսիայի մասին՝ ընդգծելով, որ միջազգային հանրությունը պետք է քայլեր ձեռնարկի և դատապարտի Ադրբեջանի կողմից ուժի կիրառումը։
