Հայաստանը Ժնևում հանդես է եկել ատելության խոսքի վերաբերյալ համատեղ հայտարարությամբ

Հայաստանը Ժնևում Մարդու իրավունքների խորհրդի (ՄԻԽ) 51-րդ նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում հանդես է եկել թվային տեխնոլոգիաների և ատելության խոսքի վերաբերյալ համատեղ հայտարարությամբ։ Տեղեկությունը հայտնում է ԱԳՆ մամուլի ծառայությունը։ Հայաստանի այս նախաձեռնությունը համահեղինակել են 38 պետություններ ՄԱԿ բոլոր տարածաշրջանային խմբերից։
«Հայտարարության մեջ, մասնավորապես, ասվում է, որ թեև թվային տեխնոլոգիաները, ներառյալ`արհեստական բանականությունը, հնարավորություններ և առավելություններ են ընձեռում, դրանց նախագծումը, զարգացումը, տեղակայումը և չարաշահումը կարող են նաև ռիսկեր պարունակել հիմնարար իրավունքների, ժողովրդավարության և օրենքի գերակայության տեսանկյունից: Միաժամանակ խորը մտահոգություն է հայտնվում վերջին տարիներին առցանց ատելության խոսքի և հետապնդումների աճի կապակցությամբ»,- նշված է հաղորդագրության մեջ։
Համատեղ հայտարարության համահեղինակները շեշտում են, որ թվային դարաշրջանում անհրաժեշտ է հիմնավորապես պահպանել, պաշտպանել և խթանել կարծիքի և խոսքի ազատության իրավունքը՝ ընդգծելով, որ սոցիալական հարթակները ձգտում են պայքարել ատելության խոսք և հանցագործություններ հրահրող պետական և ոչ պետական դերակատարների չարաշահումների դեմ:
