Ազգային ժողովի՝ հոկտեմբերի 4-ին կայացած նիստում երկրորդ ընթերցմամբ քննարկվել է ««Զինվորական ծառայության և զինծառայողի կարգավիճակի մասին» օրենքում լրացումներ կատարելու մասին» օրենքի նախագիծը: Այն ներկայացրել է ՀՀ ԿԳՄՍ նախարարի տեղակալ Կարեն Գիլոյանը: Այս մասին հայտնում է ԿԳՄՍՆ պաշտոնական կայքը:
Օրենքի նախագծի նպատակն է լուծելու այն անձանց պարտադիր զինվորական ծառայությունից ազատելու խնդիրները, որոնք, լինելով այլ պետության քաղաքացի, ստացել են ՀՀ քաղաքացիություն և հրավիրվել Հայաստանի Հանրապետություն՝ սպորտի բնագավառում հանդես գալու նպատակով, սակայն, հանգամանքների բերումով, դուրս են եկել հավաքականներից կամ այլ միջազգային մրցաշարերում և առաջնություններում հանդես չեն գալիս ՀՀ դրոշի ներքո:
«Իրականում այս օրենքի նախագծի նպատակն է լուծել նախկինում օրինական կամ ապօրինի ճանապարհով քաղաքացիություն ստացած 18 մարզիկի հարցը: 17 ֆուտբոլիստ և մեկ բասկետբոլիստ իրենց երկրում օրենքի առջև խնդիր ունեն. նրանց նկատմամբ հայտարարված է հետախուզում՝ բանակում ծառայության հետ կապված խնդիրներով պայմանավորված»,- պարզաբանել է Կարեն Գիլոյանը՝ ընդգծելով, որ նախագծի ընդունմամբ մեր հայրենակիցներին հնարավորություն կընձեռվի կրկին ներգրավվել Հայաստանի հավաքականներում:
