Տևական ժամանակ է, ինչ հնդկական մամուլը գրում է, որ Հայաստանը դարձել է իրենց արտադրության զենքի գնորդներից մեկը։ Ավելին, պաշտոնական Երևանը «Պինակա» համազարկային կրակի ռեակտիվ համակարգերի առաջին օտարերկրյա գնորդն է: Հնդկական India Today հեռուստաալիքը ծավալուն ռեպորտաժում պատմել է, որ Հայաստանին վաճառել է մոտ 260 մլն դոլարի զենք և զինամթերք: Գործարքն, ըստ լրատվամիջոցի, կարևոր հաջողություն է հնդկական ռազմարդյունաբերության համար:

Մեկնաբանելով այս հրապարակումները վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը միայն ասել է, որ դրանք «ՀՀ-ի կողմից չեն հերքվել» և ավելին ասել ինքը չի ցանկանում։ Նա նշել է, որ Հայաստանն ակտիվ քայլեր է ձեռնարկում ռազմատեխնիկական ոլորտում համագործակցության շրջանակը ընդլայնելու համար, ինչն ամենևին հեշտ գործ չէ:

2020 թվականի ղարաբաղյան պատերազմից հետո Հայաստանի իշխանությունները փորձում են բարեփոխումներ իրականացնել զինված ուժերում, միաժամանակ Ադրբեջանը մշտական լարվածության մեջ է պահում երկրի սահմանները։ Դաշնակից երկրներն էլ ոչ միայն ռազմական օգնություն չեն տրամադրում պաշտոնական դիմում ստանալուց հետո, այլև չեն մատակարարում զինամթերքը, որի համար Հայաստանն արդեն վճարել է։

Ռուսաստանի դաշնակից Հայաստանին քիչ երկրներ են պատրաստ զենք վաճառել։ Խնդիրներ են առաջանում նաև ներկրման ճանապարհի հետ կապված։ Հնդկաստանից գնված զենքը տեղափոխելու ճանապարհներից մեկը Վրաստանն է, որը մինչ այս թույլ չի տվել, որ Ռուսաստանից գնված սպառազինությունը Հայաստան հասնի իր տարածքով։
