Վլադիմիր Պուտինը 70 տարեկան է. վերջին տասնամյակների ընթացքում լրատվական դաշտի տերկայացուցիչները հիմնականում ցուցադրել են նրա առօրյա աշխատանքն ու որոշումները։ Այնուամենայնիվ, ինչպես ցանկացած մարդ, նա ունի իր սովորությունները, ճաշակն ու հոբբիները։

Սիրված ուտելիքը և խմիչքը
Պուտինը հազվադեպ է խոսում իր խոհարարական նախասիրությունների մասին։ Երկիրը գլխավորելով՝ նա Կրեմլի խոհարարներին խնդրեց սովորական ուտելիք պատրաստել՝ առանց որևէ հատուկ նրբության։

Պուտինը փորձում է ավելի քիչ ուտել օսլա պարունակող մթերքներ, իսկ «ընդհանուր առմամբ, նա անտարբեր է քաղցրավենիքի նկատմամբ, բացի պաղպաղակից»։ Ձկան և մսի միջև նա նախապատվություն տալիս է ձկանը, բայց սիրում է գառան միս։
Պուտինը չափազանց հազվադեպ է ալկոհոլ օգտագործում, սովորաբար պաշտոնական ընդունելությունների ժամանակ՝ շամպայն կամ կարմիր գինի։ Մի օր Անգելա Մերկելը նրան Radeberger գարեջուր ուղարկեց։ Ենթադրվում է, որ դա Պուտինի ամենասիրած գարեջուրն է ԳԴՀ-ում աշխատելուց ի վեր։ Սակայն նա ինքն է խոստովանել, որ փորձում է գարեջուր չխմել, քանի որ դրանից որովայնը սկսում է ուռել։
Սպորտաձեւեր
Վլադիմիր Պուտինը ձյուդոյի և սամբոյի սպորտի վարպետ է։ Ճապոնական մարտարվեստից նա սովորեց ոչ միայն առողջ ապրելակերպի սկզբունքը, այլև փիլիսոփայությունը.
Բացի այդ, ՌԴ ղեկավարը սիրում է դահուկներ. նա նույնիսկ ամենադժվար արահետներով էր քշում։ Ձմեռային խաղերից նա սիրում է հոկեյ։
Լեզվի հմտություններ
Պուտինը բավականին սահուն խոսում է գերմաներեն։ Գերմանախոս քաղաքական գործիչների հետ հանդիպումների ժամանակ նա չի օգտվում թարգմանչի ծառայություններից։
Նա պարբերաբար մարզում է իր լեզվական հմտությունները. դիտում է գերմանական և անգլերեն հեռուստաալիքներ, ինչպես նաև պարբերաբար սովորում է անգլերեն։
Նախագահը անչափ շատ է սիրում իր մայրենի լեզուն. Նրա խոսքով՝ ռուսաց լեզուն ունի յուրահատուկ գեղեցկություն, արտահայտչականություն և ճշգրտություն։ Մեր լեզուն այնքան հարուստ է, որ թույլ է տալիս խուսափել անպարկեշտ բառերի օգտագործումից։
Սակայն ինքը՝ նախագահը, երբեմն հայհոյում է, երբ «ինքն իրենից դժգոհ է»։
