Մինչ Մոսկվան և Արևմուտքը փոխադարձ մեղադրանքներ են հնչեցնում միջուկային զենքի հնարավոր կիրառման վերաբերյալ, Ռուսաստանի ԱԳՆ-ն հայտարարել է, թե զգալի առաջընթաց են արձանագրել Վաշինգտոնի հետ միջուկային զենքի շուրջ բանակցություններում։ 

Մյուս կողմից, ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենն հայտարարեց, թե Պուտինը չի կատակում և մարտավարական միջուկային զենքի կիրառման սպառնալիքն ակնառու է՝ իբրև աշխարհի առջև ծառացած լրջագույն վտանգ։ Ո՞րն է Վաշինգտոնի այս երկիմաստության խորհուրդը։

«Նախ պետք է նշել, որ ի սկզբանե Մոսկվայի կողմից միջուկային սպառնալիքը բլեֆ էր, որը չաշխատեց։ Միեւնույն ժամանակ` աշխարհաքաղաքական գործընթացներում ցանկացած իրավիճակ հմուտ խաղացողների համար նոր հնարավորությունների դաշտ է։ Այսպես. Ռուսաստանի պես անկանխատեսելի եւ անվստահելի պետության կողմից սպառնալիքը անուղղակիորեն ամրապնդում է ԱՄՆ ից կախվածություն ունեցող` Եվրոպայում եւ այլ տարածություններում գտնվող պետությունների ձգտումը դեպի «անվտանգային հովանոց»։ 

ԼՈՒՐԵՐ․ com-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց քաղաքագետ Ռոբերտ Ղևոնդյանը։ Նրա բնորոշմամբ, այդ հովանոցը, կամ ներկա աշխարհում Ռուսաստանին զսպող միակ ուժը նրանք տեսնում են Միացյալ նահանգների մեջ։ 

«Իսկ Ռուսաստանն էլ, շանտաժի միջոցով, կարողանում է մեծացնել իր ազդեցությունը իրեն հասանելի տարածություններում եւ «աշխարհակարգից դժգոհ» հատվածներում։ Ստացվում է մի իրավիճակ, երբ գործընթացի հիմնական խաղացողները մանեւրելու միջոցով օգտագործում են իրավիճակը` իրենց դիրքերն ամրապնդելու համար»,-ընդգծեց Ղևոնդյանը։
