Այսօր՝ հոկտեմբերի 8-ին, մայրաքաղաքի «Մենք ենք, մեր սարերը» հուշարձանի մոտ Արցախի Հանրապետության ԿԳՄՍ նախարար Անահիտ Հակոբյանը, սպորտի ոլորտի պատասխանատուները և մի խումբ մարզասերներ դիմավորել են բռնցքամարտի Եվրոպայի չեմպիոն, արցախցի պատանի մարզիկ Էրիկ Առստամյանին և նրա մարզիչ Նարեկ Աբրահամյանին:

«Արցախպրես»-ի թղթակցի հետ զրույցում Արցախի բռնցքամարտի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ, մարզիչ Նարեկ Աբրահամյանը նշեց, որ Իտալիայում կայացած առաջնությունում ուժեղ մրցապայքար է ընթացել:

«Մասնակցում էին մարզիկներ Եվրոպայի 33 պետությունից: Էրիկ Առստամյանը առաջնության ընթացքում, հաղթելով ընդհանուր առմամբ 4 մենամարտում, նվաճեց Եվրոպայի չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը:

Եզրափակչում, 52 կգ քաշային կարգում հանդես եկող մեր 15-ամյա մարզիկը կարողացավ պարտության մատնել անգլիացի Լեյթոն Բիրչոլին»,-ասաց Ն. Աբրահամյանը:

Պատանի բռնցքամարտիկ Էրիկ Առստամյանը Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում տարած իր հաղթանակի գրավականներից է համարում մեծ հավատն ու կամքը:

 «Մինչև մենամարտելը ես հավատում էի, որ կհասնեմ եզրափակիչին:

Իմ մեջ հաղթել էի իմ հույզերին ու վախերին:

Երևի մասնակիցներից ամենաշատը ես էի ուզում հաղթել և դրա շնորհից է դարձա չեմպիոն:

Հպարտ եմ, որ այս դժվար պահին կարողացա թեկուզ մի քիչ ուրախացնել մեր ժողովրդին»,- ասաց Է. Առստամյանը:

Ինչպես տեղեկացրել էինք ավելի վաղ, արցախցի պատանի բռնցքամարտիկը Եվրոպայի առաջնությունը մեկնարկել էր թուրք բռնցքամարտիկին հաղթելով, ապա առավելության էր հասել Բուլղարիայի և Իռլանդիայի ներկայացուցիչների, իսկ եզրափակչում՝ անգլիացի մրցակցի նկատմամբ։
