Սպասվում է, որ այսօր՝ հոկտեմբերի 11-ին, ԵՄ անդամ երկրների դեսպանները Բրյուսելում կքննարկեն և որոշում կկայացնեն Հայաստան քաղաքացիական առաքելություն ուղարկելու վերաբերյալ: Քաղաքացիական առաքելությունը պետք է տեղակայվի Ադրբեջանի հետ սահմանին՝ վստահություն ձևավորելու և սահմանազատման աշխատանքները դյուրացնելու համար։ Այս մասին երկուշաբթի Եվրախորհրդարանի պաշտպանության հարցերով հանձնաժողովում հայտարարել է Հարավային Կովկասում ԵՄ հատուկ ներկայացուցիչ Տոյվո Կլաարը, գրում է EurAsia Daily-ն։
«Առաքելություն ուղարկելու որոշումը դեռ պետք է հաստատվի անդամ պետությունների (ԵՄ) կողմից՝ Քաղաքականության և անվտանգության հարցերով հանձնաժողովում։ Անդամ պետությունների, ինչպես նաև Եվրախորհրդարանի լիակատար աջակցությունը էական նշանակություն ունի Եվրամիության խաղաղասիրական ջանքերի իրականացման համար»,- հավելել է Կլաարը։
Հայաստան քաղաքացիական առաքելություն ուղարկելու պայմանավորվածություն ձեռք է բերվել անցյալ շաբաթ Պրահայում Հայաստանի, Ադրբեջանի, Ֆրանսիայի ղեկավարների և Եվրամիության խորհրդի նախագահի բանակցությունների արդյունքում։
Ըստ քառակողմ հայտարարության՝ Հայաստանը համաձայնել է ԵՄ քաղաքացիական առաքելություն տեղակայել Ադրբեջանի հետ սահմանին։ Բաքուն, որը նախկինում մերժել էր տարածաշրջանում միջազգային դիտորդներ տեղակայելու առաջարկը, խոստացել էր համագործակցել «այնքանով, որքան դա կառնչվի իրեն»:
