ԱԺ մարդու իրավունքների պաշտպանության եւ հանրային հարցերի մշտական հանձնաժողովի նախագահ, անկուսակցական Թագուհի Թովմասյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Հրատապ դիմել եմ միջազգային գործընկերներիս՝ իրականացնելու Ադրբեջանի հնարավոր հարձակումը կանխարգելող գործնական քայլեր
Վերջին օրերին հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանին՝ մասնավորապես Վարդենիսի ուղղությամբ, Ադրբեջանի կողմից իրադրության լարումը վկայում է Ադրբեջանի հնարավոր նոր հարձակման վտանգների մասին։ ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարությունը տարածեց հաղորդագրություն, որ Ադրբեջանի ԶՈՒ-ի կողմից իրականացվել է լրացուցիչ ուժերի և միջոցների տեղաշարժ ու բացազատումում, որն առաջացրել է որոշակի լարվածություն:
 
Ադրբեջանական կողմը շարունակաբար տարածում է նաև ապատեղեկատվություն հայկական կողմի կրակ բացելու վերաբերյալ՝ հնարավոր է փորձելով հիմքեր ստեղծել իրենց առաջիկա հնարավոր հարձակման համար։
 
Գնահատելով իրավիճակի լրջությունը և իրադրության ապակայունացման հնարավոր նոր ռիսկերը՝ հրատապ նամակներ եմ ուղարկել միջազգային գործընկերներիս՝ ներկայացնելով իրավիճակի լրջությունը, ռիսկերը և խնդրել ձեռնարկել գործնական քայլեր՝ կանխելու Հայաստանի դեմ Ադրբեջանի նոր ռազմական ագրեսիան։
Երեկ ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսականների հետ հանդիպման ժամանակ կիսվեցի այս ահազանգի, ինչպես նաև մի շարք այլ հրատապ հարցերի վերաբերյալ, և նրանց հետ ունեցած զրույցում հնչեցրի «SOS» այն կապակցությամբ, որ Ադրբեջանը մտադիր է իրականացնել նոր ագրեսիա։
