«Ցավոք, Ադրբեջանի դեմ վերջին շրջանում Իրանի ձեռնարկած քայլերը, հատկապես «Հայրենական պատերազմի» ժամանակ, այնուհետև «Զանգեզուրի միջանցքի» հետ կապված, չի կարելի գնահատել որպես բարիդրացիություն»,- արձագանքելով Իրանի դիվանագիտության ղեկավարի՝ Հայաստանում հնչեցրած հայտարարություններին՝ ասել է նա։
«ԱՊԱ» գործակալության հետ զրույցում Միլլի Մեջլիսի Տարածաշրջանային հարցերով հանձնաժողովի ղեկավարը քննադատել է սահմանների փոփոխություններին ընդդիմացող Թեհրանի դիրքորոշումը, պնդելով, որ խոսքը հայ-ադրբեջանական սահմանի մասին է և «որոշումը կկայացնեն Հայաստանն ու Ադրբեջանը՝ հիմնվելով որևէ ժամանակաշրջանի քարտեզի վրա»։
«Ի՞նչ կապ ունի դա երրորդ երկրի հետ՝ այդ թվում Իրանի, որը խառնվում է այդ հարցերին»,- հավելել է «Ենի Ազերբայջան» կուսակցության բարձրաստիճան ներկայացուցիչը։
