Իսպանական Պոնտեվեդրա քաղաքում ընթացող Ըմբշամարտի աշխարհի առաջնությունում 61 կգ քաշային Արսեն Հարությունյանը Մ23 տարեկան առաջնությունում 7։4 հաշվով հաղթեց Ղրղզստանը ներկայացնող Տաիրբեկ Ժումաշբեկ Ուուլուին և դարձավ ոսկե մեդալակիր։
Արսեն Հարությունյանը, կարելի է ասել, մեկ շնչով հասավ մինչև մրցումների կիսաեզրափակիչ։ Նախ մեր մարզիկը 10։0 հաշվով հաղթեց եգիտպացի Յուսեֆ Էիսային, ապա նույն հաշվով առավելության հասավ Պուերտո Ռիկոն ներկայացնող Ջոզեպ Սիլվայի նկատմամբ, իսկ քառորդ եզրափակիչում 9։3 հաշվով հայ ըմբիշը հաղթանակ տոնեց ղազախ Ասիլ Աիտակինի նկատմամբ։
Կիսաեզրափակիչում Հարութունյանին բավականին դժվար գոտեմարտ էր սպասվում վրացի Ռամազ Թուրմանիձեի հետ, բայց որպես այդպիսին այդ գոտեմարտը դժվարին չես անվանի Արսենի համար, որովհետև երկու մրցափուլերում էլ մեր ըմբիշը լուրջ առավելություն ուներ, ու ի վերջո նրա հաղթանակը գրանցվեց՝ 13։4 հաշվով։
Եզրափակիչում մեծահասակների Եվրոպայի կրկնակի չեմպիոն ու աշխարհի առաջնությունների կրկնակի բրոնզե մեդալակիր Արսեն Հարութունյանին դիմագրավեց Ղրղզստանը ներկայացնող Տաիրբեկ Ժումաշբեկ Ուուլուն։ Հարությունյանը դարձավ ոսկե մեդալակիր։
