 Շիրազ Խաչատրյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է.

Վերջին երկու օրվա ընթացքում ադրբեջանական և հայկական լրատվական դաշտում շատ է քննարկվում ադրբեջանցի սպանված գնդապետի ձայնագրության թեման։ Ձայնագրությունն այն մասին է, թե 44 օրյա պատերազմի ժամանակ ինչպիսի լուրջ խնդիրներ են ունեցել նաև ադրբեջանական զորքերը։
 
Ասեմ, որ գնդապետի բացահայտումները ադրբեջանական զորքի ունեցած պրոբլեմների վերաբերյալ միակը չեն, բազմաթիվ մասնագետներ են բացահայտել պատերազմի ընթացքում թշնամու զորքի ունեցած բացթողումների մասին՝ կապված զորքերի կառավարման, մոբիլիզացիան կազմակերպելու, զենք-զինամթերքի, տարբեր սարքավորումների անբավարարության և այլնի առումով։ Այսինքն այն բոլոր խնդիրները, որ հայկական կողմը ունեցել է 44 օրյայի ընթացքում, համարյա նմանատիպ պրոբլեմներ է ունեցել նաև ադրբեջանական կողմը։
 
Նույնիսկ Ադրբեջանի նախագահ Ալիևը մի քանի անգամ հայտարարել է, թե պատերազմն ավարտելը Ադրբեջանի համար խելամիտ քայլ էր, ու եթե Հայաստանը չհանձնվեր, ապա իրենք մեծ կորուստներ կունենային, հատկապես դժվարությունների հանդիպելով Քելբաջարի և Լաչինի գրավման հարցերում:
 
Եվ չնայած պատերազմի ընթացքում հայկական կողմի ունեցած կորուստներին, բոլոր այն պնդումները, որ չպետք էր դադարեցնել ռազմական գործողությունները ու չպետք էր հանձնվել, միանշանակ արդարացված են։ Ուղղակի այդ պատերազմը նաև ամուր նյարդերի պայքար էր, վճռական որոշումների կայացման համար պետք էր ունենայինք կամքի ուժ ունեցող, ոչ էմոցիոնալ ռազմաքաղաքական ղեկավարություն,այլ ոչ թե էս ապիկար բախտախնդիր ինչորներին․․․
