ԱՄՆ-ում ֆերմերները գրավել են արգելոցի գլխավոր շտաբը

Ամերիկյան Օրեգոն նահանգում աշխարհազորայինները եւ տեղի բնակիչները, ի նշան բողոքի, գրավել են ազգային Մալհեր արգելոցի գլխավոր շտաբը:
Ինչպես տեղեկացնում է «Լենտան», ակցիային մինչեւ 300 մարդ է մասնակցում: Նրանք հանդես են գալիս իշխանությունների կողմից տեղի ֆերմերների իրավունքների ոտնահարման դեմ: Ելույթների առիթ է հանդիսացել այն, որ երկու ռանչոյի սեփականատերեր Դուայթ Հեմոնդ կրտսերը եւ Սթիվեն Հեմոնդը դարձյալ քրեական հետապնդման առարկա են դարձել եւ հունվարի 4-ին պիտի ներկայանան բանտ:
Asociated Press-ի տեղեկությունների համաձայն, նրանք հրդեհման մեղադրանքով դատապարտվել էին 2001-ին եւ 2006-ին, երբ ձգտում էին իրենց սեփականությունը պաշտպանել վնասակար բույսերից եւ անտառային հրդեհներից: Դատախազները համարել էին, որ վարձակալված հողերում անասուններ արածեցնելու իրավունքը չի ենթադրում այդ հողերի նկատմամբ բացառիկ իրավունքներ, այդ թվում նաեւ` հանրային ունեցվածքն այրելու իրավունք: Նախկինում նրանք արդեն կրել են իրենց պատիժը. հայրը երեք ամիս է նստել, տղան` մեկ տարի: Սակայն դատավորը որոշել է, որ նրանց ժամկետները չափազանց կարճ էին դաշնային օրենքի պահանջների համեմատ եւ նրանց հրամայել է բանտ վերադառնալ: Նրանցից յուրաքանչյուրը պիտի եւս չորս տարի անցկացնի բանտում: Այդ դատավճիռը տեղի բնակիչների վրդովմունքին է արժանացել:
Հունվարի 3-ի դրությամբ կոտրվածքներով Շտապ բուժօգնության ծառայություն է դիմել ութը քաղաքացի: Այս մասին այսօր` հունվարի 3-ին, NEWS.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց «Շտապ բուժօգնություն» ՓԲԸ տնօրեն Թագուհի Ստեփանյանը:
Նա ընդգծեց, որ ութը քաղաքացու կանչ ստացել են հունվարի 2-ի դրությամբ:
Նշենք, որ այլ խնդիրներով կանչերի թիվն այսօրվա դրությամբ հասել է 804-ի: Իսկ հոսպիտալացված քաղաքացիների թիվը` 140-ի:
