Ես համարում եմ, որ երեք տարուց ռուս խաղաղապահները գնալու են, այն ժամանակ էլ եմ բարձրաձայնել, որ հինգ տարուց հետո նրանք դուրս են գալու, չնայած բոլոր այն հայտարարությւոններին, որ դուրս չեն գալու, ամեն գնով պահելու են Արցախը և այլն։ Այս մասին «Ազատության» տաղավարում ասաց Արցախի Հանրապետության անվտանգության խորհրդի նախկին քարտուղար Սամվել Բաբայանը։
Վերջինս նշեց, որ Արցախից դուրս չգալու՝ ռուսական կողմի հայտարարությունները իրականությունից շատ հեռու են։
«Այն շահերը, որ այսօր ունի ՌԴ-ն՝ Թուրքիայի, Ադրբեջանի հետ, տանելու են այդ զիջումներին՝ էլի մեր հաշվին, դրա համար ես ասում եմ, որ մերոնք խելքի գան և փորձեն այլ լուծումներ գտնեն։ Սոչիում վերջին հանդիպման ժամանակ Ռուսաստանը ասաց, որ կա Ղարաբաղի խնդիր, պետք է լուծվի, սակայն Ադրբեջանը ասաց, որ այդ հարցը լուծվել է երկու տարի առաջ, կարողացա՞վ բան ասի, նույնն էլ այն ժամանակ է լինելու։ Լինելու են ավելի մեծ՝ տնտեսական շահեր, որոնք գերադասվելու են, քան այդ խնդիրը»,- ասաց Բաբայանը։
Հարցին՝ արդյո՞ք խաղաղապահների դուրս բերումը չի նշանակի դուրս գալ Կովկասից, Բաբայանը ասաց․
«Այդ մենք ենք համարում դուրս գալ Կովկասից, իրենք Հայաստանը համարում են, որ իրենցն է և Ղարաբաղից դուրս գալով՝ Կովկասը չեն կոցնում»։
Սամվել Բաբայանը նշեց, որ Արցախի հայկական մնալու ճանապարհը կարող է լինել ուժեղ բանակ և տնտեսություն ստեղծելը։
