Բժիշկները պարզել են` որ վիտամինի ընդունումը կարող է նվազեցնել COVID-19-ով վարակվելու հավանականությունը

Ջոն Հոփկինսի համալսարանի գիտնականները պարզել են, որ վիտամին D-ի հավելումները նվազեցնում են COVID-19-ով վարակվելու և կորոնավիրուսից մահանալու վտանգը։ Աշխատանքը հրապարակվել է Scientific Reports ամսագրում։
Վիտամին D-ի պակասը վաղուց կապված է իմունային ֆունկցիայի խանգարման հետ, ինչը կարող է նաև ազդել COVID-19-ով վարակվելու ռիսկի վրա: Այնուամենայնիվ, հայտնի չէ, թե արդյոք վիտամին D-ի թերապիան կարող է նվազեցնել COVID-19-ով վարակվելու հավանականությունը:
Պարզելու համար գիտնականները լայնածավալ համաճարակաբանական հետազոտություն են անցկացրել։ Այն ներառում է 220 000 մարդու տվյալներ, որոնց նշանակել է վիտամին D3 և 35 000 մարդու տվյալներ, ովքեր նշանակվել էին վիտամին D2: Վերահսկիչ խումբը ներառում էր 407 հազար մարդու տվյալներ, որոնց չի նշանակվել վիտամին D: Ուսումնասիրությունն ընդգրկում է 2019 թվականի հունվարի 1-ից մինչև 2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 31-ը և 2020 թվականի մարտի 1-ից մինչև 2020 թվականի դեկտեմբերի 31-ն ընկած ժամանակահատվածը:
Ընդհանուր առմամբ, վիտամին D2 և D3 հավելումները նվազեցրել են COVID-19-ով վարակվելու հավանականությունը 20%-ով և 28%-ով, սակայն վիտամին D2-ի արդյունքները վիճակագրորեն նշանակալի չեն եղել: Բացի այդ, վիտամին D3-ի հավելումը կապված է եղել COVID-19-ից մահվան ռիսկի 33%-ով կրճատման հետ (վարակվելուց հետո 30 օրվա ընթացքում):
Գիտնականները նաև պարզել են, որ որքան բարձր է արյան մեջ վիտամին D-ի մակարդակը, այնքան ցածր է COVID-19-ով վարակվելու ռիսկը։ Այս ազդեցությունը հատկապես ընդգծված է եղել սևամորթ հիվանդների խմբում։
Հեղինակները նշել են, որ իրենց արդյունքները ցույց են տալիս միայն ասոցիացիա, այլ ոչ թե պատճառահետևանքային կապ: Դրանք կարող են բացատրվել նրանով, որ մարդիկ, ովքեր վիտամին D են ընդունում, հիմնականում ավելի լավ են գիտակցում առողջությունը, հասանելի են որակյալ առողջապահական խնամքին և ավելի խիստ են դիմակներ կրելու և սոցիալական հեռավորություն պահպանելու հարցում:
Բացի այդ, հետազոտությունը հիմնված է եղել միայն բժշկական գրառումների վրա. գիտնականները անմիջականորեն չեն շփվել հիվանդների հետ և կարող են չիմանալ, թե արդյո՞ք նրանք վիտամին D են ընդունում՝ առանց բժշկի նշանակման:
