Արմեն Աշոտյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է․

Փաշինյանի ընտանեկան թերթը երկնել է մի թարմ հիմարություն, թե Սերժ Սարգսյանը միջազգային գործընկերների հետ հանդիպումների ժամանակ պնդում է, «թե իբրև Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը պայմանավորվածություն է ձեռք բերել ՌԴ նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինի հետ, ըստ որի՝ «Հայաստանի սուվերեն տարածքով ռուսական կողմի հսկողությամբ Հայաստանը պետք է միջանցք տրամադրի Ադրբեջանին»։
 
Այս զավեշտը կմնար պարզապես Իսլանդիյաի ափերին օվկիանիսում կետերի հետ ֆոտոսեսիա անող տիկնոջ եւ իր ստախոս ու վախկոտ ամուսնու լրատվական աղբանոցի շարքային ցնդաբանություն, եթե չհետապնդեր հերթական նենգ նպատակները:
Այն է. Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանության հաշվին անել նոր ճակատագրական զիջումներ ու այդ նպատակով նախապես «հող նախապատրաստել» նախկինների գրպանները գցելու համար։
 
Ուստի ստորեւ բերվող պնդումս, որը հրապարակավ անում եմ թե որպես Սերժ Սարգսյանի միջազգային հանդիպումներին մասնակից, թե որպես արտաքին քաղաքականության գծով Հանրապետականի փոխնախագահ, պիրսինգ արեք ձեր քթերին.
 
Սարգսյանի եւ ՀՀԿ-ի միջազգային կապերն ու հանդիպումները ծառայում են բացառապես հայ ժողովրդի ազգային շահերին, Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանության պահպանմանն, անվտանգության վերականգնմանը, ինչպես նաեւ Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի հեռանկարը պահպանելուն։
 
Ու չփորձեք Հայաստանի համար կենսական հարցերով դավադրությունների գնալու ձեր կեղտոտ պատրաստակամությունը փաթաթել նախկինների վրա։
