Ռուբեն Վարդանյանի հանդեպ Ադրբեջանի հարվածները պետք է դիտարկել ՌԴ-ի դեմ, Ալիևի խոսքերն իրականությանը չեն համապատասխանում, քանի որ իրենց պետական քաղաքականության կարևորագույն ուղղությունների մի մասն է ՌԴ-ին հարվածելը, իհարկե, նրանք պետական մակարդակով ոչինչ չեն ասում, բայց առանձին գործիչների վերլուծաբանների միջոցով հակառուսական մեծ արշավ են սկսել:

Այս մասին 24TV-ի հաղորդման ժամանակ ասաց Արցախի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Դավիթ Բաբայանն՝ անդրադառնալով Ադրբեջանի նախագահի այն հայտարարությանը, որ պատրաստ է խոսել ԼՂ-ում ապրող հայերի հետ, բայց ոչ այնպիսի մարդկանց հետ, ինչպիսին Ռուբեն Վարդանյանն է, նա ուղարկվել է շատ հստակ օրակարգով։

Բաբայանի խոսքերով, ՌԴ-ի հետ որևէ գաղտնի օրակարգ չկա, ՌԴ-ն կողմ է, որ ՀՀ-ի և Ադրբեջանի միջև հարաբերությունները կարգավորվեն, միաժամանակ հասկանալով, որ Արցախի հարցը հիմա բարդ է լուծել, այն պետք է թողնել ապագային, Ադրբեջանն էլ փորձում է առիթից օգտվել, բայց այս մոտեցումը պետք է սկզբունքային լինի մեզ համար:

Անդրադառնալով Ալիևի այն հայտարարությանը, որ Բաքվի համար անընդունելի է, որ խաղաղության պայմանագրում նշվի ԼՂ ժողովրդի իրավունքների և անվտանգության հարցը, Դավիթ Բաբայանը նշեց, որ Ալիևը շատ բան կարող է ասել, եթե ՀՀ-ն ընդունի նրանց ասածը, ապա մենք, որպես ժողովուրդ, կդադարենք գոյություն ունենալ, պետք է այս հարցում սկզբունքորեն պաշտպանենք մեր շահը:
