Չնայած հակամարտող կողմերի ղարաբաղյան հիմնախնդրի հանդեպ հակառակ դիրքորոշումներին Արցախը հակված է բանակցային գործընթացը ԵԱՀԿ Մինսկի խմբի հովանու ներքո շարունակելուն: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ` այս մասին «Արցախյան հիմնախնդիրը արդի քաղաքական գործընթացների հոլովույթում» խորագրով գիտագործնական համաժողովում իր ելույթում ասել է Արցախի Հանրապետության ԱԺ նախագահ Արթուր Թովմասյանը:

Նա ողջունել է համաժողովի մասնակիցներին` խորապես կարևորելով «Արցախյան հիմնախնդիրը արդի քաղաքական գործընթացների հոլովույթում» խորագրով գիտագործնական համաժողովի նախաձեռնումն ու կազմակերպումը:

«Մեր օրերում, երբ վտանգված է Արցախի պետականությունը, հակամարտության վերջնական լուծման կողքին դրվում է նաև Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի իրացման հեռանկարը: Մեր այս դիրքորոշումը պետք է ընկալելի լինի նաև Հարավային Կովկասում իրենց տարածաշրջանային շահերը հետապնդող երկրների համար:Միջազգային հանրությունը պարտավոր է հարգել արցախահայության պահանջը, քանզի այն համապատասխանում է միջազգային իրավունքի հիմնարար սկզբունքներին և նորմերին»,-ասել է ԱԺ նախագահն իր ելույթում:

Նրա խոսքով` հակամարտության կարգավորումը, տարածաշրջանում տևական և կայուն խաղաղությունն անհնար է առանց Ադրբեջանի կողմից օկուպացված և փաստացի Ադրբեջանի վերահսկողության տակ հայտնված տարածքներում հայկական մշակութային և հոգևոր ժառանգության պահպանության, այդ թվում՝ բոլոր հնարավոր միջոցներով մշտադիտարկման կազմակերպման՝ կանխելու համար հայերի էթնիկ զտման նպատակով իրականացրած գործողությունները:

«Ադրբեջանը ցայսօր, խախտելով 2020 թվականի նոյեմբերի 9-ի եռակողմ հայտարարության դրույթները, Արցախի նկատմամբ պարբերաբար ագրեսիվ գործողություններ է ձեռնարկում, որոնք որակվում են ինչպես հայատյացության դրսևորում, այնպես էլ տարածաշրջանում խաղաղության և կայունության խախտման և հատկապես՝ խաղաղապահ առաքելության չեզոքացման նենգ դրսևորում: Մենք շարունակելու ենք մեր ջանքերը՝ Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման և անվտանգության համար մղված Արցախյան ազատամարտի արդյունքների պաշտպանության, խնդրի խաղաղ և արդարացի լուծմանը հասնելու ուղղությամբ»,-ասել է Թովմասյանը, հավելելով, որ արցախահայությունը  կանգնած է անցյալից դասեր առնելու, ընդօրինակելու, կատարվածը հանրագումարի բերելու հրամայականի առջև: Ներկա դրությամբ առաջնահերթ խնդիրը երկրի հուսալի անվտանգության ապահովումն է:

«Կարևորում ենք հատկապես ՌԴ կողմից այս հարցի նկատմամբ ընդգծված վերաբերմունքն ու իրականացված գործնական քայլերը: Աշխարհաքաղաքական բարդ ու անկանխատեսելի իրավիճակին և արտաքին մարտահրավերներին դիմակայելու համար առաջնային ու կարևոր գործոն պետք է հանդիսանան համաժողովրդական համախմբվածությունն ու համերաշխությունը»,-ընդգծել է Արթուր Թովմասյանը:
