Քիչ առաջ հայտնի դարձավ, որ ձնաբքի հետևանքով երկկողմանի փակվել է Սևան-Վարդենիս ավտոճանապարհը, որտեղ, ըստ նախնական տեղեկությունների, գտնվում էր նաև Ազգային ժողովի նախագահ Գալուստ Սահակյանն ու ԱԺ մի շարք պատգամավորներ:
Այս առնչությամբ ֆեյսբուքյան էջում ԱԺ հասարակայնության հետ կապերի և լրատվության վարչության պետ Արսեն Բաբայանը գրառում է արել. «Նկատի ունենալով բազմաթիվ հարցումները տեղեկացնում եմ, որ խոսել եմ ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահի հետ։
Գալուստ Սահակյանն այցելել է մարզերից մեկում բնակվող ազգականին։ Ճանապարհին իրեն շատ լավ է զգացել, որևէ խոչընդոտի չի հանդիպել։ Քամին ճանապարհի մի հատվածում ձյուն է լցրել, որն արագ մաքրվել է համապատասխան ծառայությունների կողմից։ Սենսացիոն որևէ երևույթ տեղի չի ունեցել։ Ձմռանը միշտ էլ լինում են ձնով լցված ճանապարհներ»:
