ԱՄՆ Սենատի հանձնաժողովը Ուկրաինայի դեմ Ռուսաստանի գործողությունները ճանաչել է որպես ցեղասպանություն

ԱՄՆ Սենատի արտաքին հարաբերությունների հանձնաժողովը բանաձև է ընդունել, որով Ուկրաինայի դեմ Ռուսաստանի գործողությունները ճանաչվում է որպես ուկրաինացի ժողովրդի ցեղասպանություն, հայտնում է svoboda.org-ը:

Փաստաթուղթը դատապարտում է Ռուսաստանին «Ուկրաինայի ժողովրդի դեմ ցեղասպանություն իրագործելու համար» և կոչ է անում ԱՄՆ-ին և դաշնակիցներին շարունակել աջակցել Ուկրաինայի կառավարությանը, ինչպես նաև հետաքննություն անցկացնել՝ ուղղված այս սարսափելի հանցագործությունների մեղավորներին պատասխանատվության ենթարկելուն։

Բանաձևն ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենին կոչ է անում «Մագնիտսկու օրենքի» համաձայն պատժամիջոցներ սահմանել ցեղասպանության մեջ ներգրավված մարդկանց դեմ։ Բանաձևի հեղինակները, ի թիվս այլոց, եղել են դեմոկրատներ Բեն Քարդինը (նա գլխավորում է ամերիկյան Հելսինկյան հանձնաժողովը) և Ռիչարդ Բլումենտալը, ինչպես նաև հանրապետական սենատորներ Լինդսի Գրեհեմը և Ջիմ Ռիշը։

«Պուտինն իր գործողություններով շատ հստակ ցույց տվեց, որ իր նպատակն է վերջ տալ ուկրաինացի ժողովրդի գոյությանը: Ես անձամբ տեսել եմ նրա դաժանության ապացույցներն Իրպինում և Կիևի շրջանի այլ հատվածներում», - ասել է Ռիշը:

Միջազգային քրեական դատարանը հետաքննում է Ուկրաինայում ենթադրյալ ռազմական հանցագործությունները։

Ռուսաստանը հերքում է, որ իր զինվորականները սպանել են խաղաղ բնակիչների։ Ավելի վաղ Ուկրաինա ռուսական ռազմական ներխուժման կապակցությամբ աշխարհի մի քանի երկրների խորհրդարաններ Ռուսաստանը հայտարարել էին ահաբեկչության հովանավոր, իսկ Եվրախորհրդարանը հաստատել էր նման  բանաձևը։ Նմանատիպ փաստաթղթեր արդեն մի քանի անգամ ներկայացվել են ԱՄՆ Կոնգրեսին, սակայն դրանցից ոչ մեկը դեռ չի ընդունվել։
