Փաշինյանն Նիկոլն օֆիցիալ ընդունել է, որ Շուշին՝ ադրբեջանական Շուշա քաղաքն է: Հետո նա պարլամենտի ամբիոնից նաև արդարացրել է՝ Շուշին ադրբեջանական կողմին դավադրաբար պարտվելը: Այս մասին ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջջում գրում է կառավարման մասնագետ Արթուր Համբարձումյանը:
«Փաշինյան Նիկոլը չի հերքել այն տեղեկությունը, որ մինչև 2020 թվականի սեպտեմբերը, այսինքն երկու տարի շարունակ՝ սեպարատ բանակցություններ է վարել, հակահայկական պայմանավորվածություններ է ձեռք բերել Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարի հետ:
Փաշինյան Նիկոլը, մի քանի անգամ, հրապարակայնորեն ընդունել է Ադրբեջանի տարածքային ամբողջականությունը՝ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը ներառյալ:
Գորիս-Կապան ՝ ադրբեջանական ԶՈՒ-երի կողմից օկուպացված հատվածը մի անգամ չէ, որ փաշինյանական դեպուտատները համարել են Ադրբեջանի մաս:
-Մենք ևս ֆինանսապես օգնել ենք , որ Փաշինյանը գա իշխանության,-պատերազմից առաջ հայտարարում էր Ադրբեջանի նախագահը:
Տեղեկություններ կան, որ Փաշինյանի արտգործոց նախարարը համագործակցել է թուրքական հատուկ ծառայությունների հետ: Լրջագույն կասկածներ կան, որ օտարերկրյա հատուկ ծառայությունների հետ համագործակցության փորձ եր են ունեցել ՝ Փաշինյան Նիկոլը, Ռուբեն Ռուբինյան, Արմեն Գրիգորյանը, Արայիկ Հարությունյանն ու բարձր պաշտոններ զբաղեցնող տասնյակ այլ պաշտոնյաներ:
Փաշինյան Նիկոլն ամեն ինչ արել է, որ 44 օրյա պատերազմը չդադարի: Նա մերժել է ՌԴ նախագահի՝ Ադրբեջանի ղեկավարի հետ համաձայնեցրած առաջարկությունները, անտեսել է ՀՀ ԶՈւ-երի հրամանատարության հորդորը պատերազմը դադարեցնելու վերաբերյալ: Բոլոր հիմքերը կան պնդելու համար, որ հենց նա է խախտել՝ հոկտեմբերի 10-ի հրադադարը: Պատերազմից հետո նա չի հրապարակել զոհերի ամբողջական ցուցակը, միտինգ է կազմակերպել զոհված տղերքի շիրիմների կողքը:

Ու այս ամենի ֆոնին, ընդդիմություն կոչվածը պարլամենտ է բերում պրոհայկական ինչ -որ նախագիծ ու զարմանում, զայրանում, որ Փաշինյան Նիկոլը այդ փաստաթղթին դեմ է քվեարկել:
