Աշխատանքային այցով Ռուսաստանում գտնվող ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը հանդիպել է իր ռուս գործընկերոջ՝ Սերգեյ Շոյգուի հետ։ Ինչպես գրում է TASS գործակալությունը, հանդիպումը կայացել է Շանհայի համագործակցության կազմակերպության և ԱՊՀ անդամ պետությունների պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարների գագաթնաժողովի շրջանակում։
Հայաստանը մեր դաշնակիցն է ՀԱՊԿ-ում և ռազմավարական գործընկերն Անդրկովկասում: Մենք չափազանց շահագրգռված ենք տարածաշրջանում կայունության պահպանմամբ և դրա համար առավելագույն ջանքեր ենք գործադրում։ Մենք առանձնահատուկ նշանակություն ենք տալիս երկկողմ համագործակցության զարգացմանն ու Հայաստանի ԶՈՒ պոտենցիալի հզորացմանը»,- աղբյուրի փոխացմամբ՝ ասել է Սերգեյ Շոյգուն:
Հանդիպման ընթացքում երկու երկրների պաշտպանության նախարարները վերահաստատել են պաշտպանության նախարարությունների 2023 թվականի համագործակցության ծրագիրը։
ՌԴ ռազմական գերատեսչության ղեկավարը նաև ընդգծել է, որ ռուսական կողմը պատրաստ է շարունակել համատեղ աշխատանքը։
Իր հերթին, ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարար Սուրեն Պապիկյանը նշել է, որ սա այս տարվա չորրորդ հանդիպումն է։
«Մենք բարձր ենք գնահատում այս գագաթնաժողովը կազմակերպելու ձեր նախաձեռնությունն ու ջանքերը: Դեկտեմբերը ճիշտ ժամանակն է արդյունքների ամփոփման և ապագայի պլաններն ուրվագծելու համար։ Այսօր մենք կստորագրենք 2023 թվականի պլանը», - ասել է Սուրեն Պապիկյանը:
Հիշեցնենք, որ ՇՀԿ և ԱՊՀ անդամ պետությունների պաշտպանական գերատեսչության ղեկավարների գագաթնաժողովը կայացել է այսօր, Մոսկվայում, որին տեսակապով միացած Չինաստանի պաշտպանության նախարար, գեներալ-գնդապետ Վեյ ֆենխեն հանդես է եկել ուղերձով։
