Հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրել է.
Սիրելի բարեկամներ,
Բոլորդ գիտեք, թե ինչ իրավիճակ է հիմա Արցախում, և ինչպիսի վտանգներով է դա հղի։ Թշնամին փորձում է օգտագործել ցանկացած հնարավորություն, ցանկացած զարտուղի՝ Արցախի և Հայաստանի դեմ նոր սադրանքներ հրահրելու և նոր ռազմական գործողություններ սկսելու համար, օգտվելով նաև Հայաստանի գործող իշխանությունների անատամ, պարտվողական վարքագծից, և Ռուսաստանի խաղաղապահ անձնակազմի անկարողությունից՝ համարժեք արձագանքել առկա մարտահրավերներին։
Այս իրավիճակում, Արցախի Ազգային ժողովը դիմել է Հայաստանի Հանրապետության իշխանություններին, կոչ անելով նրանց "ձեռնարկել առարկայական եւ գործուն քայլեր` Արցախի Հանրապետության եւ Հայաստանի Հանրապետության միջեւ անխափան ցամաքային կապի վերականգման եւ Արցախի Հանրապետության քաղաքացիների իրավունքների պաշտպանության նպատակով:"
Նմանապես, այն դիմել է Հայաստանի եւ Սփյուռքի բոլոր հայրենակիցներին՝ "օգտագործելու բոլոր հնարավորությունները` տարբեր հարթակներում բարձրաձայնելու Ադրբեջանի կողմից Արցախում ստեղծված հումանիտար աղետի մասին, տեր կանգնելու արցախահայության իրավունքների պաշտպանությանն ու պատրաստ լինելու այդ ուղղությամբ անհրաժեշտ գործողություններ իրականացնելու"։
