Հանքագործների և մետալուրգների միության անդամ կազմակերպությունները խիստ մտահոգված են ոլորտի հանդեպ հասարակության մեջ սերմանվող անհարկի անհանդուրժողականության, ոլորտի դերի նսեմացման և չհիմնավորված սպառնալիքների մասին տարիներ շարունակ տարածվող ապատեղեկատվությամբ և կոչ են անում դրսևորել ծայրահեղ պատասխանատվություն ոլորտի մասին հրապարակային բոլոր հայտարարություններում։ 

Նպատակ չունենք նսեմացնելու քաղաքացիական հասարակության և մամուլի դերը ոլորտի ձեռնարկություններին պատասխանատու գործելաոճի կոչելու հարցում, այդուհանդերձ, պնդում ենք, որ տեղի չունեցած «պայթյունների», չապացուցված «աղետների» մասին լուրերի տարածումը, Հայաստանի հանքարդյունաբերության ոլորտը որպես մեծ սպառնալիք ներկայացնելու հանրության որոշ շերտերի անպատիժ և հետևողական վարքագիծը կարող է լուրջ հետևանքներ ունենալ պետության անվտանգության համար։

Մտահոգություն ունենք, որ նաև այս՝ տարիներ շարունակ «աղետների» մասին չկանխվող լրահոսի արդյունքում են հարևան երկրում ընդունելի և արդարացված համարում Հայաստանում և Արցախում ոլորտի ձեռնարկությունների ֆիզիկական կամ վերբալ թիրախավորումը։

Ոլորտի ձեռնարկությունները, մինչև վերջին տարիները, որպես կանոն՝ հանդուրժող և զուսպ են եղել զրպարտության նկատմամբ՝ գերադասելով լռել։ Այժմ նման վերաբերմունքն ակնհայտ կեղծ և վտանգավոր տեղեկատվության տարածման հանդեպ դառնում է սպառնալիք ոչ միայն ոլորտի, այլև երկրի համար։

Ոլորտի ձեռնարկությունները նպատակ չունեն հերքելու առկա խնդիրները, այդուհանդերձ հարկ ենք համարում շեշտել, որ հնարավոր ջանքեր են գործադրում բնապահպանական պատշաճ կառավարման համար։ Զգալի անելիքներ դեռ կան, բայց «սպասվելիք աղետների» մասին և այլ կեղծ լուրերի տարածումը ոչ միայն չի նպաստում կառավարման բարելավմանը, այլև վտանգ է ներկայացնում պետության շահերի տեսանկյունից։

Կոչ ենք անում դրսևորել զգոնություն, պատասխանատվություն և ցանկացած տեղեկատվություն տարածելիս դրա իսկությունն առնվազն փորձել ճշտել պետական իրավասու մարմիններից կամ հենց ընկերություններից։
