Պատերազմի ավարտը կլինի միայն այն բանից հետո, երբ ուկրաինական զինված ուժերը հասնեն Ուկրաինայի` 1991 թվականի սահմաններին։
Այս մասին բրիտանական The Economist ամսագրին տված հարցազրույցում ասել է Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին։
«Սա վերջը չէր լինի, քանի որ ոչ ոք չի հասկանում, թե ինչ են անվտանգության երաշխիքները։ Մենք ունեինք Բուդապեշտի հուշագիրը։ Ինձ ասում էին. «Մի վախեցիր, ամեն ինչ լավ է, միջուկային զենք չկա։ Եվ սա է ճիշտ ճանապարհը, և ամբողջ աշխարհը գնում է այդտեղ»։ Բայց ամբողջ աշխարհը չի եկել, ինչպես տեսնում ենք», - ասել է Ուկրաինայի նախագահը։
Նա հիշեցրել է, որ Ուկրաինան իր միջուկային զենքը փոխանակել է անվտանգության երաշխիքներով, որոնք չեն աշխատել։
«Ինչո՞ւ է միայն Ուկրաինան այդքան թանկ վճարում, մենք երախտապարտ ենք մեր աջակիցներին, բայց վճարում ենք միայն մենք»,- հավելել է Զելենսկին։
Ուկրաինայի նախագահի խոսքով՝ որքան շուտ ավարտվի պատերազմը, այնքան «Պուտինը ավելի երկար կկառավարի Ռուսաստանում»։
«Որքան շուտ պատերազմն ավարտվի, և եթե Ռուսաստանը ընտրի իր սկզբի ողբերգական սխալները ճանաչելու ուղին, այնքան երկար ՌԴ նախագահը կապահովի իր և իր շրջապատի կյանքը»,- ասել է Զելենսկին։
Միաժամանակ նա մեկ անգամ եւս հայտարարել է, որ պատերազմի ավարտը կլինի միայն այն բանից հետո, երբ ուկրաինական զինված ուժերը հասնեն Ուկրաինայի` 1991 թվականի սահմաններին։
«Ինչո՞ւ եմ ասում, որ պետք է գնանք դեպի մեր սահմանները։ Որովհետև եթե դա չաշխատի, նա (Պուտինը-խմբ.) կվերադառնա: Հասկանո՞ւմ եք։ Սա է հիմնական պատմությունը։ Մենք ՆԱՏՕ-ում չենք, որո՞նք են անվտանգության երաշխիքները: Եթե նա վերադառնա, նրանք մեզ նորի՞ց կօգնեն զենքով, դա իսկապես կարո՞ղ է մեզ պաշտպանել լայնամասշտաբ ներխուժումից։ Ո՛չ»,- ասել է Զելենսկին։
