Հասարակական-քաղաքական գործիչ Ավետիք Չալաբյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում տեսանյութ է հրապարակել և գրել.
Երեկ ուշ երեկոյան Նյու-Յորքում տեղի ունեցավ ՄԱԿ Անվտանգության խորհրդի նիստը՝ Ադրբեջանի կողմից Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի շրջափակման հարցով: Թեև վերջնական որոշումը դեռ հայտնի չէ, Անվտանգության խորհրդի անդամ երկրների մեծ մասը կոչ արեց ապաշրջափակել Լեռնային Ղարաբաղը և կանխել հումանիտար աղետը, ի հեճուկս Ադրբեջանի ջանքերի և նրա ներկայացուցչի կողմից ստերի տարափին:
Դրական էր նաև այն, ոի Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի խնդիրը այս քննարկմամբ վերադարձավ ՄԱԿ-ի օրակարգ, ինչը ճանապարհ է բացում հետագա դիվանագիտական նախաձեռնությունների համար: Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Մհեր Մարգարյանի ելույթը, թեև չէր պարունակում մեր կողմից նախկինում հնչեցրած կարևոր պահանջները Արցախի ճանաչման և նրա անվտանգության ապահովման կոնկրետ միջազգային մեխանիզմների վերաբերյալ, բավական համակարգված էր, և ի թիվս այլոց, բարձրացրեց Արցախի անվտանգության համար միջազգային հանրության կոլեկտիվ պատասխանատվության հարցը, սա ևս քայլ էր ճիշտ ուղղությամբ:
