Պետք է ամեն ինչ անենք, որպեսզի մյուս սերունդը տեսնի, որ հաղթահարել ենք այս դժվարությունները և ստացել ենք այն, ինչի համար հազարավոր զոհեր ենք տվել, այս մասին դեկտեմբերի 25-ին Ստեփանակերտի Վերածննդի հրապարակում տեղի ունեցած համաժողովրդական հանրահավաքի ժամանակ ասաց Արցախի Հանրապետության պետական նախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը՝ նշելով, որ փետրվարի 23-ին լրանում է Արցախյան գոյապայքարի 35-րդ տարին:

«Մենք պայքարի մեջ ենք: Ես հպարտ եմ և շնորհակալ, որ այսքան մարդկանց հետ այստեղ եմ գտնվում։ Իմ ընկերներին ասում եմ, որ ես երջանիկ եմ, որ հայրենիքում, իմ ժողովրդի հետ միասին պաշտպանում ենք մեր արժանապատվությունը, մեր ապագան։ Ես 20 տարի է՝ գալիս եմ Արցախ և վերջին 52 օրը պետնախարար եմ, իսկ վերջին 14 օրվա ընթացքում կատարում եմ օպերատիվ շտաբի ղեկավարի պաշտոնը:

Իսկապես հպարտության և հարգանքի զգացում ունեմ, որ մարդիկ, դժվարություններով հանդերձ, ընդունում են այս իրավիճակը և պատրաստ են պայքարելու։ Եթե մենք գտնում ենք իմաստ պայքարելու, եթե կարող ենք հավատալ մեր առաջնորդներին, մենք պատրաստ ենք դիմակայել ամեն ինչի։ Առավոտյան գնացի շուկա, տարիքով մի կնոջ հարցրեցի՝ ինչպես է, պատասխանեց, որ ապրանք չկա, բանջարեղեն չկա, շատ ծանր է: Հարցնում եմ՝ իսկ ինչպես եք դիմանում, ասում է՝ միայն թե հավատանք, որ մեզ չեք խաբելու, որ մենք միասնական ենք»,- նկատեց Ռուբեն Վարդանյանը՝ հավաստիացնելով, որ միասնական են:
