Inscience.news-ը գրում է, որ Աբդալլահ թագավորի անվան Գիտատեխնոլոգիական համալսարանի գիտնականները (Սաուդյան Արաբիա) ցույց են տվել, որ օրգանական արևային վահանակներ ստեղծելիս քլորացված լուծիչները կարող են փոխարինվել բույսերի մզվածքներով։ Դա կօգնի նվազեցնել ածխածնի հետքը: Հետազոտությունը հրապարակված է Nature Energy ամսագրում:

Օրգանական արևային մարտկոցները էներգետիկ ոլորտում ամենաէկոլոգիապես մաքուր տեխնոլոգիաներից են: Նրանց օգնությամբ կարելի է «կանաչ» էներգիա ստանալ, իսկ 1 կՎտ էներգիան համարժեք է ընդամենը 3 գ ածխաթթու գազի արտանետմանը։ Այնուամենայնիվ, քլորացված լուծիչներ են օգտագործվում օրգանական արևային մարտկոցների արտադրության մեջ: Դրանք կարող են վտանգավոր լինել մարդկանց համար, բացի դա դրանք ձեռք են բերվում նավթաքիմիական գործընթացներում։

Գիտնականները փորձել են այլընտրանքային լուծիչներ գտնել։ Դրա համար նրանք օգտագործել են Հանսենի լուծելիության պարամետրերը։ Սա պարամետրերի մի շարք է, որը թույլ է տալիս գնահատել, թե որքանով են մոլեկուլները միմյանց նման: Դա թույլ է տալիս ընտրել լուծիչներ, որոնք նման են մոլեկուլային մակարդակով, բայց ոչ թունավոր են և/կամ արտադրվում են էկոլոգիապես մաքուր եղանակով: Տվյալների վերլուծության արդյունքում գիտնականները պարզել են, որ տերպենները՝ մի խումբ նյութեր, որոնք ներառում են անուշաբույր յուղեր էվկալիպտոլ և լիմոնեն, կարող են դառնալ քլորացված լուծիչների այլընտրանք: Տերպենները կարելի է ձեռք բերել բույսերի թափոններից (էվկալիպտի տերևներ, նարնջի կեղև) կամ կենսասինթեզի միջոցով՝ օգտագործելով բակտերիաներ և ջրիմուռներ։ Գիտնականները փորձարկել են օրգանական արևային մարտկոցների արդյունավետությունը, որոնց արտադրության համար օգտագործվել են տերպեններ։ Այն կազմել է 16%, որը նույնն է, ինչ քլորացված լուծիչներ օգտագործելիս: Միաժամանակ գիտնականներին հաջողվել է ածխածնի հետքը կրճատել 85%-ով։ Դա կօգնի «կանաչ» էներգետիկայի ոլորտում հետագա զարգացումներին։
