Երգչուհի Լիլիթ Կարապետյանն օրեր առաջ հյուրընկալվել է Մհեր Բաղդասարյանի «Tete A Tete» հաղորդմանը, որի շրջանակներում խոսել է իր և Հայաստանի ազգային հերոս և Արցախի հերոս Վազգեն Սարգսյանի մասին:
Կյանքի վերջին 2 տարում Վազգեն Սարգսյանը սիրավեպ է ունեցել երգչուհի Լիլիթ Կարապետյանի հետ և հաղորդման շրջանակներում երգչուհին պատմել է սիրավեպի և մահվան լուրը լսելու մասին:
«Նախկինում, երբ խոսում էին Վազգեն Սարգսյանի մասին ես խուսափում էի՝ մտածելով հարազատների, վտանգների և մի շարք այլ հանգամանքների մասին: Ես կարող եմ ասել՝ եթե նա ողջ լիներ, ապա նա թույլ չէր տա, որ ամենահարազատ մարդն անգամ խոսեր իր փոխարեն համացանցում: Սպարապետն այսօր ֆիզիկապես մեզ հետ չէ, բայց ես շատ երջանիկ եմ, որ եղել եմ այն եզակի մարդը, ում նա իսկապես սիրել է. իսկապես որոշել էինք մեր կյանքը կապել միմյանց հետ, ունենալ գեղեցիկ ընտանիք»,- ասել է երգչուհին:
Լիլիթ Կարապետյանը նաև խոսել է սպարապետի մոր՝ տիկին Գրետայի մասին:
«Նրա կյանքում մնացյալ բոլոր հարցերում Գրետա մայրիկը նույնպես ուներ իր խոսքը, որոշումները և բոլորը գիտեին դրա մասին, բայց այս կողմն ուրիշ էր: Ես նաև տեղյակ եմ, որ չէր կարողանում նա երկար ժամանակ սիրել կամ սիրահարվել, որ դուր գար, թե՛ արտաքինը, թե՛ ներքինը»,- նշել է Լիլիթ Կարապետյանը:
Նա խոսել է նաև 1999թ. հոկտեմբերի 27-ի մասին. չէր կարողանում հավատալ, որ Վազգեն Սարգսյանը ոճրագործության զոհ է դարձել.
«Անընդհատ լսում էի, բոլորն ասում էին՝ այլևս չկա սպարապետը, բայց ես չէի հավատում, մինչև որ նրա վարորդն ասաց: Մեր ընտանիքի ճակատագիրը հենց էդ վայրկյանից խեղաթյուրվեց: Ինքը շատ մտերիմ էր, թե՛ եղբորս, թե՛ մորս հետ: Ես ու եղբայրս Վազգենի մեջ ամեն ինչ էինք տեսել ու երբեք չէինք օգտվել, քանի որ մաքուր զգացմունք էր, մաքուր հարաբերություն»,- նշել է երգչուհին:
