Ադրբեջանն ամեն կերպ փորձում է կոտրել արցախահայության ոգին ու ճնշումների միջոցով հասնել Արցախի հայաթափմանը, հայտարարել է Արցախի պետնախարար, Օպերատիվ շտաբի պետ Ռուբեն Վարդանյանն՝ Ասկերանի շրջան այցելության ժամանակ՝ խոսելով 46-օրյա շրջափակման պատճառների մասին։
Արցախի կառավարության փոխանցմամբ՝ ընդգծելով, որ բոլոր միջոցներով աշխատանք է տարվում ապաշրջափակման ուղղությամբ, պետնախարարն ասել է՝ կառավարությունը պարտավոր է պատրաստ լինել և հնարավոր բոլոր սցենարների պարագայում ապահովել բնակչության առնվազն նվազագույն կենսական կարիքները:
«Այս փորձությունների միջով ստիպված ենք անցնել՝ հանուն Արցախը հայկական պահելու և հանուն մեր հողի վրա արժանապատիվ ապրելու իրավունքի պաշտպանության: Սա դժվար ճանապարհ է. չեմ կարող խոստանալ, որ խնդիրներ չեն լինելու, բայց վստահեցնում եմ, որ սա միակ ճանապարհն է, որը թույլ կտա պահպանել մեր հայրենիքը», - ասել է Վարդանյանը:
Պետնախարարը եղել է Ասկերանի Նորագյուղ, Խնձրիստան, Պատարա համայնքներում, հանդիպել ինչպես նշված գյուղերի, այնպես էլ հարակից բնակավայրերի բնակիչների հետ:
