Բանակի օրը, հատկապես, շատ կարևոր է, որ ազգովի արձանագրենք և ընդունենք մի քանի պարզ ճշմարտություններ, որոնք կարևոր են մեր հետագա հաջողության համար.
 
Ցանկացած ազգ և պետություն դատապարտված է չգոյության, քանի դեռ չի գիտակցել, որ իր լինելության առաջին գրավականը բանակն է. չկա բանակ՝ չկա և չի լինելու պետություն:
 
Ցանկացած բանակ դատապարտված է չգոյության, եթե այն ղեկավարում է պարտությունը հաղթանակ համարող բարոյազուրկ վախկոտը:
 
Օտար, թեկուզ բարեկամ, պետության բանակը երբեք չի պաշտպանի որևէ ազգի ու պետության սահմաններն այնպես, ինչպես իր հայրենի հողը, պետությունն ու ծնողին պաշտպանող զինվորը:
Ուզում ենք հաղթող բանակ՝ չպիտի ունենանք երկիրն ու բանակը անտերության մատնած թուլամորթ, բարոյազուրկ ղեկավար:
 
Բանակն անպարտելի է, երբ այն առաջնորդում են ոգով արի, պատիվ և ազգային արժանապատվություն ունեցողները:
 
Թշնամին տեսել է Հայոց բանակի հաղթական ոգին. տեսել ու սարսափել է հայ զինվորի աներևակայելի սխրանքներից, երբ բանակն ունեցել է արժանի ղեկավարներ: Հայրենիքի՝ երբեմնի ազատագրված տարածքները վկա:
 
Բանակի վրա այսօր քար նետողներին ու թերահավատներին ասում եմ որերրորդ անգամ՝ դուք չգիտեք իրական հայկական բանակը: Թշնամուն ծնկի բերած մեր երբեմնի հզոր բանակը միֆ համարողները միտումնավոր անարգում են հազարավոր քաջորդիների հիշատակը և գիտակցաբար հուսահատության մղում մեր ժողովրդին:
 
Բանակը, ինչպես և ամբողջ պետությունն անտերության մատնած, միտումնավոր վարկաբեկած և պարտության տարածներից պետությունն ազատագրելը միայն կարող է վերականգնել բանակի երբեմնի փառքն ու պետության լիարժեք ինքնիշխանությունը:
 
Ես գլուխ եմ խոնարհում Հայրենիքի ազատության և անկախության համար իրենց կյանքը զոհաբերած մեր բոլոր քաջորդիների՝ իմ բազմաթիվ մարտական ընկերների, մեր հերոս եղբայրների ու քույրերի, որդիների և դուստրերի անմահ հիշատակի առջև:
