Փորձագետը` Հայաստանում հնարավոր երկրաշարժի վերաբերյալ խոսակցությունների մասին

Շատ հաճախ մասնագետները կամ պաշտոնյաներն ասում են, որ Հայաստանում հնարավոր է երկրաշարժ։ Սա չմտածված էժանագին փիառ է, քանի որ նման հայտարարությունները մարդկանց մոտ միայն վախ ու անհանգստություն են առաջացնում։ Այս մասին NEWS.am-ի հետ զրույցում ասաց ՀՀ Սեյսմիկ պաշտպանության տարածքային ծառայության գլխավոր փորձագետ, երկրաբանական գիտությունների դոկտոր, պրոֆեսոր Սերգեյ Նազարեթյանը։
«Նման պնդումների համար պետք է լուրջ հիմքեր ունենալ։ Անձամբ ես այդ կապը չեմ տեսնում և քիչ հավանական եմ համարում, քանի որ հյուսիսանատոլիական խզվածքը գտնվում է Հայաստանի սահմաններից դուրս, հեռահարությունը 700 կմ է։ Մինչ ցնցումները հասնում են Հայաստան, դրանք թուլանում են: Հայաստանում երկրաշարժը պետք է հասունանա, որպեսզի դրա մասին խոսվի։ Ոչ ոք չգիտի՝ հասունացել է, թե՝ ոչ»,-նշեց նա։
Փորձագետը տեղեկացրեց, որ Թուրքիայում տեղի ունեցած երկրաշարժը մոտ 270 կմ երկարությամբ ճեղքեր է առաջացրել:
