Արցախի անկախությունը գալիս է առաջին հերթին ոչ միայն միջազգային կազմակերպություններից, այլ մեր ցանկությունից: Այս մասին այսօր՝ փետրվարի 24-ին, Երեւանում անցկացվող «Արցախի միջազգային ճանաչման հրամայականը» խորագրով համաժողովին Արցախից տեսակապով հայտարարեց Արցախի նախկին Պետնախարար Ռուբեն Վարդանյաը:
«Ես վերջին վեց ամիսն Արցախում եմ եւ կարող եմ վստահեցնել, որ արցախցիների մեծամասնությունն այդպես է մտածում, իրենք չեն տեսնում իրենց ոչ մի ուրիշ տարբերակում, բացի անկախ լինելուց: Նույն ժամանակ մենք ունենք խնդիր, որ մարդիկ կորցրել են հավատն իրենց նկատմամբ, հավատ՝ դեպի արդարություն, դեպի ղեկավարություն եւ ապագան: Եթե չունես հավատ, շատ դժվար է պայքարելը»,- ընդգծեց Վարդանյանը:
Նրա խոսքով՝ Արցախը կանգնած է շատ լուրջ փոփոխությունների առջեւ.
«Ինչպես 1998 թվականին Արցախում երբ սկսեց շարժումը, մենք ոչ թե միայն քննարկում էինք Արցախի անկախության հարցը, այլ քննարկում էինք մեր արժեքները, մեր սկբունքները, ինչին ենք պատրաստ, ինչին՝ ոչ: Այդպես է ստացվել, որ մենք ունենք անկախ Հայաստան, Սփյուռք, ունենք Արցախում ապրող 120 հազար հայ, որոնք ուզում են միանալ Հայաստանին, բայց միաժամանակ ունենք խնդիր, որ այս իրավիճակում առաջին քայլը, որը պետք է անենք, դա Արցախի անկախությունը եւ ինքնորոշման ճանապարհը վերջացնելն է: Վստահ եմ, որ այս դժվարությունները կարող ենք հաղթահարել միայն մեկ դեպքում, եթե այդ գործն անենք ամեն օր եւ դա լինի մեր համար ամենակարեւոր գործը: Այն մարդիկ, որոնք վստահ են, որ սա հայկական ամենակարեւոր հարցերից մեկն է: Տեսնում եմ այն հիվանդությունները, որոնք ունենք մեր մեջ, եւ առաջին թշնամին մենք ենք, մենք, որ չենք հասկանում, որ ամենօրյա կյանքով ապրելով, չի ստացվելու փոխել այն, ինչը պետք է փոխենք»:
