Երկրաշարժից տուժածներին աջակցելու նպատակով մարդասիրական օգնությամբ Սիրիա է ժամանել 244 ինքնաթիռ: «Արմենպրես»-ի հաղորդմամբ՝ այս մասին «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ին հայտնել է Սիրիայի տեղական ինքնակառավարման և շրջակա միջավայրի փոխնախարար Մոաթազ Քաթանը։

«Մինչ այժմ Սիրիա է ժամանել մարդասիրական օգնության 244 ինքնաթիռ, ինչպես նաև մարդասիրական օգնության ավտոշարասյուններ, որոնք հատել են ցամաքային սահմանը՝ երկրաշարժին օգնելու համար»,- նշել է Քաթանը։

Նա շնորհակալություն է հայտնել բոլոր արաբական և մյուս երկրներին, որոնք տարերային աղետի առաջին իսկ րոպեներից  աջակցել են Սիրիային:

«Այս օգնությունը կարեկցանքի և աջակցության արտահայտություն է սիրիական պետությանը աղետի հետևանքների հաղթահարման գործում»,-շեշտել է փոխնախարարը:

Նա ընդգծել է, որ Սիրիայի իշխանությունները երկրաշարժի հետևանքների պատճառով կանգնած են լուրջ մարտահրավերների առաջ, որոնք աջակցություն են պահանջում՝ հաշվի առնելով 12-ամյա պատերազմից հետո սիրիական պետության հնարավորությունները։

2023 թվականի փետրվարի 6-ին Սիրիայում տեղի ունեցած երկրաշարժից հետո որոնողափրկարարական աշխատանքներ իրականացնելու նպատակով Սիրիա են ժամանել աշխարհի ընդամենը 5 երկրի 8 թիմեր, այդ թվում՝ Հայաստանը, որն արդեն իսկ կազմակերպել է մարդասիրական օգնության երրորդ խմբաքանակի տեղափոխումը։ Մարդասիրական օգնությունից բացի, երկրաշարժի արհավիրքից տուժած Սիրիային Հայաստանի աջակցությունը հայտնելու համար օրեր առաջ Սիրիա էր ժամանել անձամբ արտգործնախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը, հանդիպել տեղի իշխանությունների հետ, ծանոթացել իրավիճակին:

Պաշտոնական հանդիպումներից հետո Արարատ Միրզոյանն այցելել է Հալեպ քաղաք, որը երկրաշարժից ամենաշատը տուժած բնակավայրերից մեկն է:
