ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահ Ալեն Սիմոնյանը մարտի 1-ին ընդունել է Հայաստանում Մեքսիկայի նորանշանակ դեսպան Էդուարդո Վիլյեգաս Մեխիասին: Նա շնորհավորել է արտակարգ եւ լիազոր դեսպանին պաշտոնը ստանձնելու կապակցությամբ՝ մաղթելով հաջող համագործակցություն:

Զրույցի ընթացքում կարեւորվել են միջխորհրդարանական կապերը՝ մասնավորեցնելով խորհրդարանական բարեկամական խմբերի գործունեությունը:

Խոսելով առեւտրատնտեսական կապերի, իրավապայմանագրային դաշտի ընդլայնման մասին՝ ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը նշել է, որ գործուն քայլեր են անհրաժեշտ տնտեսական, գիտատեխնիկական, առողջապահության, քրեաիրավական ոլորտներին առնչվող նախագծային փուլում գտնվող 5 համաձայնագրերն ավարտին հասցնելու համար:

Նա երախտագիտություն է հայտնել Մեքսիկական Միացյալ Նահանգների Սենատի բոլոր անդամներին, որոնք նախաձեռնել եւ 2023 թվականի փետրվարի 8-ին ընդունել են Հայոց ցեղասպանության ճանաչման եւ դատապարտման մասին փաստաթուղթը՝ հավելելով, որ Պատգամավորների պալատը նույնպես հանդես կգա համապատասխան նախաձեռնություններով:

Հանդիպմանն անդրադարձ է եղել տարածաշրջանի անվտանգության հարցերին: Ալեն Սիմոնյանը երախտագիտություն է հայտնել դեսպանին՝ 2022 թվականի սեպտեմբերին Հայաստանի դեմ Ադրբեջանի իրականացրած ագրեսիայի ընթացքում Մեքսիկա-Հայաստան բարեկամության խմբի կողմից արված հայտարարության համար՝ միեւնույն ժամանակ ակնկալելով, որ Մեքսիկան ավելի հասցեական եւ հստակ ձեւակերպումներով կդատապարտի Ադրբեջանի կողմից իրականացվող ագրեսիվ գործողությունները: ԱԺ խոսնակը բարձր է գնահատել 2022 թվականի դեկտեմբերին Լաչինի միջանցքի հարցով ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի հրատապ նիստում Մեքսիկայի ներկայացուցչի հայտարարությունն ու Մեքսիկայի դիրքորոշումը, որով կոչ է արվել թույլատրել միջանցքով ազատ տեղաշարժը:

Դեսպանը նշել է, որ հպարտ է ներկայացնել խաղաղասեր Մեքսիկայի ստեղծարար ժողովրդին՝ ընդգծելով, որ իր երկիրը պատրաստ է ներդնել բոլոր ջանքերը հակամարտությունները խաղաղ հանգուցալուծելու համար:

Եզրափակելով խոսքը՝ ՀՀ ԱԺ նախագահը նշել է, որ Հայաստանը տարածքային պահանջներ չունի իր հարեւանների նկատմամբ եւ շարունակում է հավատարիմ մնալ խաղաղության հասնելու օրակարգին:
