ԱՀԿ-ն նախազգուշացրել է նոր համաճարակի ռիսկի մասին

Համաշխարհային հանրությունը պետք է նախապատրաստվի այն բանին, որ թռչնագրիպը, որը ձեռք է բերում մարդուց մարդ տարածվելու ունակություն, կարող է հանգեցնել նոր համաճարակի, չորեքշաբթի ասել է Առողջապահության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության (ԱՀԿ) համաճարակաբան Ռիչարդ Փիբոդին El Pais թերթին տված հարցազրույցում:
«Մտավախություն կա, որ վիրուսը (թռչնագրիպը) ձեռք կբերի մարդուց մարդ տարածվելու ունակություն, ընդ որում՝ կայուն կերպով, եւ կարող է նոր համավարակ առաջացնել: Մենք պետք է պատրաստ լինենք դրան։ Գիտական հանրությունն ուսումնասիրում է այդ վիրուսների գենետիկ հաջորդականությունը՝ դրանց հետևելու, ինչպես նաև պատվաստանյութեր մշակելու համար, որոնք հասանելի կլինեն անհրաժեշտության դեպքում», — հայտարարել է նա։
Համաճարակաբանը բացատրել է, որ թռչնագրիպի նոր բռնկումը, որը ոչնչացրել է միլիոնավոր՝ վայրի և տնային թռչուններ ամբողջ աշխարհում, սկսվել է երկու-երեք տարի առաջ՝ A(H5N1) վիրուսի հատուկ տեսակի պատճառով:
«Մենք ուզում ենք ասել, որ պետք է զգոն լինել։ Կարևոր է, որ մարդիկ չվերցնեն սատկած կամ մահացող թռչուններ կամ այլ կենդանիներ: Եվ որպեսզի թռչնաֆաբրիկաների աշխատողները լավ պաշտպանված լինեն», - զգուշացրել է Փիբոդին։
Նշվում է, որ այս խնդիրը կարող է հատկապես վտանգավոր լինել գյուղական բնակավայրերում միջինից ցածր եկամուտ ունեցող տնային տնտեսությունների շրջանում, որտեղ հաճախ ընդունված է ընտանի թռչուններ պահել:
