ԱՄՆ կոնգրեսական Ադամ Շիֆն անդրադարձել է մարտի 5-ին ադրբեջանական զինուժի հարձակմանը, որի հետևանքով զոհվել է արցախցի 3 ոստիկան, ևս մեկը վիրավորվել է: Նա հրապարակում է արել ֆեյսբուքյան էջում:
«Ադրբեջանական ուժերի հարձակումը, որին զոհ է գնացել արցախցի 3 ոստիկան, դիտավորյալ սպանության ևս մեկ գործողություն է և ընդգծում է Ադրբեջանի դեմ պատժամիջոցների անհրաժեշտությունը մարդու իրավունքների և Արցախի ժողովրդի ինքնորոշման իրավունքի խախտման համար։ Այս վերջին բռնությունը տեղի է ունենում Լաչինի միջանցքի շրջափակման պատճառով առաջացած մարդասիրական ճգնաժամի ընթացքում, որի հետևանքով 120 000 մարդ հայտնվել է ծանր վիճակում: ԱՄՆ-ն պետք է դատապարտի Ադրբեջանի հարձակումները Արցախի վրա և պատասխանատվության ենթարկի Ալիևի ռեժիմին: Կոչ եմ անում ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղարությանը և Բայդենի վարչակազմին օգտագործել բոլոր դիվանագիտական ուղիները՝ տարածաշրջանում աճող անկայունությունը լուծելու և Արցախի անվտանգության և ինքնիշխանության հարգումն ապահովելու
համար», -գրել է Շիֆը:
