Մարտի 7-ին ժամը 20։50-ին, «911» ճգնաժամային կառավարման կենտրոնում Ստեփանակերտ քաղաքի բնակչից ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ Խնածախ-Ստեփանակերտ ավտոճանապարհի 2-րդ կիլոմետրին տեղի է ունեցել ճանապարհատրանսպորտային պատահար։ Այս մասին հայտնում են Արցախի ՆԳՆ արտակարգ իրավիճակների պետական ծառայությունից:
Օգնություն ցուցաբերելու նպատակով անմիջապես դեպքի վայր են մեկնել ՆԳՆ ԱԻՊԾ արագ արձագանքման հատուկ ստորաբաժանման հերթապահ օպերատիվ խումբը և Ոստիկանության ծառայողները։
Պարզվել է, որ Ասկերանի շրջանի Այգեստան համայնքի 21-ամյա բնակիչն իր վարած «Ֆորդ տրանզիտ» մակնիշի ավտոմեքենայով, նշված ճանապարհահատվածի կամրջով երթևեկելու ժամանակ դուրս է եկել երթևեկելի գոտուց և գլորվել ձորը։
Վարորդը մարմնական վնասվածքներով դիմել է հանրապետական բժշկական կենտրոն։
ՆԳՆ ծառայողները ցուցաբերել են անհրաժեշտ օգնություն։ Փրկարարները հոսանքազրկել են ավտոմեքենան և զննել մոտակա տարածքը։ Համոզվելով որ վտանգ չկա, հերթապահ խումբը ժամը 21։38-ին վերադարձել է մշտական տեղակայման վայր։
