Զիմբաբվեում գտնվող աշխարհի ամենամեծ ջրամբարը ցանկանում են ծածկել արևային մարտկոցներով

Plus-one.ru-ն գրում է, որ Զիմբաբվեի և Զամբիայի իշխանությունները քննարկում են Կարիբա լճի հիդրոէլեկտրակայանում ֆոտոգալվանային վահանակներ ավելացնելու հարցը այն բանից հետո, երբ ջրամբարում ջրի մակարդակի անկումը հանգեցրել է երկու երկրներում էլեկտրաէներգիայի անջատումների: Նախագծի համաձայն վերականգնվող էներգիան ավելի քան կրկնապատկելու է էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտադրությունը։ Այսինքն Զիմբաբվեի Զամբեզի գետի վրա գտնվող աշխարհի ամենամեծ տեխնածին Կարիբա ջրամբարի մակերեսը կարող է օգտագործվել լողացող արևային մարտկոցներ տեղադրելու համար: Նման գաղափար քննարկել են Զիմբաբվեի և հարեւան Զամբիայի կառավարություններում։
Ինչպես հայտնում է Bloomberg-ը վկայակոչելով աֆրիկյան երկրների իշխանություններին, երկարատև երաշտը հանգեցրել է Կարիբյան ամբարտակի վրա գտնվող հիդրոէլեկտրակայանում էլեկտրաէներգիայի արտադրության կրճատմանը։ Հիդրո ռեսուրսների գերօգտագործումը սրել է խնդիրը 2023 թվականի սկզբին, երբ ջրամբարի մակարդակը իջել է օգտագործելի ծավալի 1%-ից ցածր, որը հանգեցրել է էլեկտրաէներգիայի անջատումների:
Զամբեզի գետի վարչության գլխավոր գործադիր տնօրեն Մունյարաձի Մունոդավաֆան լրագրողներին ասել է, որ արհեստական լճի մակերեսին արևային վահանակներ տեղադրելը պետք է ավելի քան 2100 ՄՎտ էներգիա ավելացնի ջրամբարի էներգահամալիրին, որն այժմ ունի 1300 ՄՎտ-ից մի փոքր ավելի հզորություն:
