Թուրքական «Posta» թերթի սյունակագիրներից Օրալ Չալըշլարը գրել է վերջին երկրաշարժից հետո Թուրքիայի հայկական միակ գյուղում՝ Վաքըֆլըում տիրող իրավիճակի մասին:

Ermenihaber.am-ը գրում է, որ գյուղապետ Պերճ Քարթունը Չալըշլարի հետ զրույցում նշել է, որ գյուղը ծայրից ծայր քանդվել է: Մա պատմել է, որ գյուղում 35 տուն կա՝ մոտ 130 բնակչությամբ: Երկրաշարժից անմիջապես հետո 30 կին և երեխա Պոլսի հայոց պատրիարք Սահակ արքեպիսկոպոս Մաշալյանի ուղարկած ավտոբուսով տեղափոխվել են Ստամբուլ:

20 մարդ էլ գնացել է բարեկամների մոտ՝ Իսքենդերուն: «Այս գյուղի բնակչությունը գնալով նվազում է: Երկրաշարժը մեծ ավերածություն եղավ: Որպեսզի այս գյուղը չվերանա, պետության աջակցությունն է անհրաժեշտ»։ Նա ասել է, որ գյուղում 15 տուն էապես վնասվել են, եկեղեցին նույնպես վնասվել է:

Այս պահին մոտ 25 վրան ունեն, որտեղ էլ ապրում են: Շեշտել է, որ բոլոր կողմերից օգնություն է գալիս, 4-րդ օրվանից սկսել է տեղ հասնել օգնությունը, շնորհակալություն է հայտնել բարերարներին, պաշտոնյաներին: «Սրանից հետոն արդեն պետությունից ենք ակնկալում: Ինչպե՞ս են կառուցվելու քանդված տները:

Գումարային օգնությա՞մբ, թե՞ այլ ճանապարհներով: Պետք է ստեղծենք այն հնարավորությունները, որոնք կկանխարգելեն, որ մարդիկ լքեն այս գյուղը: Գյուղացիների միգրացիան կանխելու համար պետք է նախ և առաջ լուծենք ապաստանի հարցը:…

Թուրքիայում մնացած միակ հայկական գյուղը կանգուն պահելու համար ջանքեր ենք գործադրում: Ամեն եկողից օգնություն ենք խնդրում: Շատ մեծ աղետ ապրեցինք»,- նշել է գյուղապետը:
