Ուկրաինան Վրաստանի նախկին նախագահ Միխեիլ Սաակաշվիլիին ուղարկել է իր հայրենիք՝ Վրաստանում իրավիճակը ապակայունացնելու և երկիրը ռազմական գործողությունների մեջ ներքաշելու համար։ Այս մասին կիրակի IMEDI հեռուստաալիքի եթերում հայտարարել է Վրաստանի վարչապետ Իրակլի Ղարիբաշվիլին, գրում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։
«Ուկրաինայում պատերազմի սկիզբը սպասվում էր դեռ (2021թ.) նոյեմբերին, առավելագույնը՝ դեկտեմբերին։ Մենք այդ մասին տեղեկություն ունեինք, այդ թվում՝ ես էլ այդ մասին գիտեի մեր գործընկերներից։ Ե՞րբ Սաակաշվիլին ժամանեց Վրաստան, հոկտեմբերի 1-ին։ Սաակաշվիլիին կազմակերպված ձևով ուղարկեցին, հիմնական նպատակն այստեղ հեղաշրջում կազմակերպելն էր և ճիշտ ժամանակին երկրներին պատերազմի մեջ ներքաշելն էր: Մենք այսօր դրանում կասկած չունենք»,- ասել է Ղարիբաշվիլին։
Վարչապետի խոսքով՝ «Ուկրաինայի համար, հավանաբար, մի տեսակ թեթևացում կլիներ, եթե Ռուսաստանը իր ուշադրությունը տեղափոխեր» Վրաստանի վրա։ Ըստ Ղարիբաշվիլիի, եթե Սաակաշվիլիի հիմնադրած ընդդիմադիր «Միացյալ ազգային շարժում» կուսակցությունը լիներ իշխանության, Վրաստանը «կվերածվեր պոլիգոնի», իսկ երկիրը կստանար «երկրորդ Մարիուպոլը»։ Այսպիսով, Ուկրաինան «ժամանակ կշահեր», եզրափակել է Վրաստանի վարչապետը։
Սաակաշվիլին գաղտնի ժամանել է Վրաստան՝ 2021 թվականի հոկտեմբերին կայանալիք մունիցիպալ ընտրությունների նախօրեին. դրանից հետո նա ձերբակալվել էր և տեղավորվել Ռուսթավի քաղաքի բանտ։ Նա հացադուլ է հայտարարել՝ իրեն անվանելով քաղբանտարկյալ։ Առողջական վիճակի վատթարացումից հետո Վրաստանի նախկին նախագահը տեղափոխվել է բանտային հիվանդանոց, իսկ ավելի ուշ՝ զինվորական հոսպիտալ։ 2021 թվականի դեկտեմբերին Սաակաշվիլին շարունակել է պատիժը կրել բանտում, սակայն 2022 թվականի մայիսին նրան տեղափոխել են Թբիլիսիի «Վիվամեդ» մասնավոր կլինիկա, որտեղ նա մնում է մինչ օրս։ Նախկին նախագահը բազմիցս հայտարարել է, որ բանտում ծանր հիվանդություններ են ձեռք բերել։ Վրաստանի իշխանությունները պնդում են, որ Սաակաշվիլին սիմուլյանտություն է անում։
