Էսկալացիայի հավանականությունը շատ մեծ է և՛ ՀՀ սահմանի երկայնքով, և՛ Լեռնային Ղարաբաղում: Այս մասին մամուլի ասուլիսի ժամանակ ասաց ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը.
«Իմ եզրակացությունն Ադրբեջանի ավելի ու ավելի ագրեսիվ դարձող հռետորաբանությունից է և, իհարկե, կան որոշակի այլ տվյալներ»:
Ինչ վերաբերում է զսպման մեխանիզմներին, ապա Փաշինյանը նշեց, որ 2022-ի հոկտեմբերին Պրահայում նախնական պայմանավորվածությունն այն էր, որ ԵՄ դիտորդներ պետք է լինեն սահմանի կամ շփման գծի երկու կողմերից, Ադրբեջանի նախագահը բոլորի ներկյությամբ սկզբում համաձայնել է, հետագայում հրաժարվել այդ տարբերակից:
«Մենք համաձայնցինք կամ որոշում կայացրինք հրավիրել ԵՄ դիտորդներին, քանի որ Հայաստանը չէ, որը նախաձեռնում է ագրեսիվ գործողություններ և էսկալացիա: Քանի որ թե՛ 2020թ. պատերազմից առաջ կամ հետո Ադրբեջանը ցանկացած էսկալացիա բացատրում էր Հայաստանի գործողություններով և մենք հասկանալով, որ հարցեր ենք ստանում նաև ԵՄ մեր գործընկերների կողմից, ասացինք, որ դեմ չենք՝ եթե նրանք դիտորդներ ուղարկեն, որ մեր տեղեկատվության հիման վրա հիմնվելու անհրաժեշտություն չունենաք»,-նշեց Փաշինյանը:
