Հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբիշ Կարապետ Մանվելյանն արծաթե մեդալ է նվաճել Ռումինիայի մայրաքաղաք Բուխարեստում ընթացող Եվրոպայի Մ23 տարեկանների առաջնությունում:
Հայ ըմբիշը 55 կգ քաշայինների եզրափակչում 3:7 հաշվով զիջել է Ռումինիայի ներկայացուցչին:
Կարապետ Մանվելյանը պայքարը սկսել էր 1/8 եզրափակչից, որտեղ 9:0 հաշվով առավելության էր հասել Սաբոլց Լոսոնկի նկատմամբ, քառորդ եզրափակչում տուշեով (7:1) հաղթել էր ադրբեջանցի Ռահիմ Հասանովին, իսկ կիսաեզրափակչում հաղթանակի էր հասել Թուրքիայի ներկայացուցիչ Մուհամեդ Չակիրի նկատմամբ:
Հայաստանի մյուս ներկայացուցիչներ Հովհաննես Հարությունյանն ու Ալբերտ Վարդանյանը Մ23 տարեկանների Եվրոպայի առաջնությունում բրոնզե մեդալներ են նվաճել: Հարությունյանը 87 կգ քաշայինների բրոնզե մեդալի համար գոտեմարտում տուշեով հաղթել է Մոլդովայի ներկայացուցիչ Գաբրիել Լուպասկոյին և զբաղեցրել 3-րդ հորիզոնականը, իսկ Ալբերտ Վարդանյանը 130 կգ քաշայինների բրոնզե մեդալի համար պայքարում 6:1 հաշվով հաղթել է չեխ Մարսել Ալբինիին:
Մրցումային երկրորդ օրը մրցագորգ դուրս եկած Հայաստանի 5 ներկայացուցիչներից պայքարը կշարունակեն Աշոտ Խաչատրյանը (67 կգ) և Հայկ Խլոյանը (97 կգ): Խաչատրյանը հասել է կիսաեզրափակիչ, որտեղ 0:11 հաշվով պարտվել է վրացի Դիեգո Չխիկվաձեին: Խաչատրյանը կգոտեմարտի բրոնզե մեդալի համար, իսկ Խլոյանը սփոփիչ գոտեմարտ կանցկացնի Լեհաստանի ներկայացուցիչ Յակուբ Կամիլի հետ. հաղթանակի դեպքում Խլոյանը ևս կգոտեմարտի բրոնզե մեդալի համար:
Ըմբշամարտի Մ23 տարեկանների Եվրոպայի առաջնությունն անցկացվում է մարտի 13-19-ը:
Հունահռոմեական ոճի ըմբիշների ելույթներից հետո մրցագորգը կտրամադրվի ազատ ոճայիններին: Հայաստանի ազատ ոճի ըմբշամարտի Մ23 տարեկանների հավաքականի կազմում հանդես կգան Էդիկ Հարությունյանը (57 կգ), Մեժլում Մեժլումյանը (61 կգ), Տիգրան Ղազարյանը (65 կգ), Հայկ Պապիկյանը (70 կգ), Մենուա Յարիբեկյանը (74 կգ), Նարեկ Գրիգորյանը (79 կգ), Կնյազ Իբոյանը (86 կգ), Սերգեյ Սարգսյանը (92 կգ), Խաչատուր Խաչատրյանը (97 կգ) և Մարտին Սիմոնյանը (125 կգ):
