Մարտի 15-ին Մոսկվայում կարևոր հանդիպում է տեղի ունեցել ֆրանսիացի գեներալ Շառլ դը Գոլի թոռան՝ Պիեռի և Ռուս-հայկական գործարար խորհրդի խորհրդի նախագահ Մհեր Ավետիսյանի միջև։
Հանդիպումը նվիրված է եղել եվրոպական երկրների և Ռուսաստանի միջև գործընկերային հարաբերությունների քննարկմանը, ինչպես նաև Շառլ դը Գոլի կողմից ստեղծված միացյալ Եվրոպայի քաղաքական արժեքների համակարգը ժառանգելու անհրաժեշտությանը։
Հանդիպման ընթացքում Մհեր Ավետիսյանը նշել է նաև Ֆրանսիայի և Հայաստանի միջև բարեկամական հարաբերությունների զարգացումը և հիշել դրան նպաստած այնպիսի հայտնի գործիչների, ինչպիսիք են Միսակ Մանուշյանը, ով իր կնոջ՝ Մելինե Մանուշյանի հետ մասնակցել է ֆաշիստ զավթիչների դեմ Ֆրանսիայի դիմադրությանը՝ լինելով «Իմիգրանտ աշխատանքային ուժ» զինյալ խմբի հայկական բաժնի ակտիվիստ, և Շառլ Ազնավուրը, ով մշակութային և բարեգործական մեծ ներդրում է ունեցել Հայաստանի Հանրապետությանն աջակցության գործում։
Հիշեցնենք, որ Շառլ դը Գոլը պարբերաբար հանդես է եկել ավանդական եվրոպական արժեքների աջակցության և ամրապնդման, այդ թվում՝ ֆաշիզմից և արտաքին քաղաքական թելադրանքից ազատվելու օգտին: Ռուսաստանը, ըստ նրա, միշտ եղել և մնում է եվրոպական ժողովուրդների ընտանիքի անդամ, որոնք աջակցում են ավանդական քրիստոնեական բարոյական գաղափարախոսությանը, լիարժեք երկխոսությանը, փոխզիջումների պատրաստակամությանը և եվրոպական մշակույթների բազմազանության ճանաչմանը։ Նրա թոռը՝ Պիեռը, Շառլ դը Գոլի գաղափարական ժառանգության ակտիվ շարունակողն ու պաշտպանն է։
