Թուրքիայում այսօր սկսվում է նախագահի եւ խորհրդարանի ընտրությունների արշավը, այն կտեւի մինչեւ մայիսի 13-ը, երբ կհայտարարվի «լռության օր», տեղեկացրել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

Քվեարկությունը տեղի է ունենալու մայիսի 14-ին, եթե անհրաժեշտություն առաջանա՝ նախագահական ընտրությունների երկրորդ փուլը կկայանա մայիսի 28-ին։

«Ընտրությունների օրացույցն» այս շաբաթ հաստատել է Թուրքիայի Բարձրագույն ընտրական խորհուրդը։  ԿԸՀ-ի որոշման համաձայն՝ նախագահի թեկնածուների առաջադրումը կսկսվի մարտի 19-ին եւ կավարտվի մարտի 23-ին, տեղի ժամանակով ժամը 17.00-ին, թեկնածուների ցուցակը կհրապարակվի մարտի 31-ին կառավարության տեղեկատուում, ինչից հետո նրանք կկարողանան սկսել քարոզարշավը, տեղեկացրել է TRT հեռուստաալիքը։

Քաղաքական կուսակցությունները կամ դաշինքները, որոնք մասնակցելու են ընտրություններին, պետք է ԿԸՀ ներկայացնեն իրենց թեկնածուների ցուցակները մարտի 24-ի օրվա վերջին։

Ընտրությունների անցկացման մասին հրամանագիրը Թուրքիայի գործող նախագահ Ռեջեփ Թայիփ Էրդողանը ստորագրել է մարտի 10-ին։ Դրանք սկզբում նախատեսված էին հունիսի 18-ին։

Էրդողանը կառավարող Ժողովրդական դաշինքի նախագահի թեկնածուն է։ Նրա հիմնական մրցակիցն ընդդիմությունից Ժողովրդա-հանրապետական կուսակցության (ԺՀԿ) առաջնորդ Քեմալ Քըլըչդարօղլուն է։ Վերլուծաբանները չեն բացառում, որ Թուրքիայում նախագահական ընտրությունները տեղի կունենան երկու փուլով։

Ընտրություններին մասնակցելու մտադրության մասին հայտարարել են եւս մի քանի քաղաքական գործիչներ, այդ թվում ԺՀԿ-ի նախկին ներկայացուցիչ Մուհարեմ Ինջեն, որը մասնակցել է 2018թ. նախագահական ընտրություններին, խորհրդարանի նախկին պատգամավոր, «АТА» (Թուրքիայի հիմնադիր Աթաթյուրքի կրճատ անվանումը- ծան.՝ ՏԱՍՍ-ի) քաղաքական դաշինքի առաջնորդ Սինան Օղանը, «Թուրքիա» նախընտրական դաշինքի ղեկավար, նախկին նախագահ Թուրգութ Օզալի որդի Ահմեթ Օզալը եւ մի քանի այլ անձինք, սակայն նրանց շանսերն ընտրություններում սոցիոլոգները նվազագույն են համարում։

Առաջին փուլում հաղթելու համար նախագահի թեկնածուն պետք է հավաքի  ընտրողների ձայների 50 տոկոսից ավելին։ Հակառակ դեպքում կսկսվի երկրորդ փուլը, որին կմասնակցեն երկու թեկնածուներ, որոնք կհավաքեն ամենամեծ աջակցությունն առաջինում։ Երկրորդ փուլում ձայների մեծամասնություն հավաքած թեկնածուն կընտրվի Թուրքիայի նախագահ հինգ տարվա համար։ Նախագահի թեկնածու կարող է առաջադրել այն կուսակցությունը կամ կուսակցությունների դաշինքը, որը կհավաքի ավելի քան 5 տոկոս ձայներ խորհրդարանական ընտրություններում։ Անկախ թեկնածուները պետք է հավաքեն 100 հազար ստորագրություն։

Նախորդ նախագահական ընտրությունները տեղի են ունեցել 2018թ. հունիսի 24-ին։ Հաղթել է Էրդողանը՝ հավաքելով ընտրողների ձայների 52,6 տոկոսը։
