Աստղագիտական գարնան սկիզբն է. գարնանային գիշերահավասար

Այս գիշեր՝ մարտի 21-ին Երևանի ժամանակով 01:24-ին, Արեգակը երկնքի հարավային կիսագնդից կանցնի հյուսիսային կիսագունդ, ինչն էլ աստղագիտական գարնան սկիզբը կլինի: Այդ պահին Արեգակը կգտնվի Երկրի հասարակածի հարթության մեջ:

Օրը կոչվում է գարնանային գիշերահավասարի օր, քանի որ գիշերվա և ցերեկվա տևողությունները հավասարվում են: Նշենք, որ խոսքն Արեգակի` հորիզոնից բարձր և ցածր գտնվելու տևողության մասին է: Իրականում օրվա լուսավոր մասն ավելի երկար կլինի, քանի որ գումարվում են նաև առավոտյան և երեկոյան մթնշաղի ժամերը:
Տարիներ առաջ գարնանային գիշերահավասարը մարտի 22-ին էր, և ավագ սերնդի մոտ դեռևս կա այդ կարծրատիպը։ Սակայն ամեն տարի այն թեթևակի փոխվում է և տեղի է ունենում ավելի վաղ: Այդ փոփոխության պատճառը Երկրի պրեցեսիան է. նրա պտտման առանցքը ժամանակի ընթացքում տեղաշարժվում է՝ մոտ 25772 տարում կատարելով մեկ լրիվ պտույտ: Մոտ 70 տարին մեկ այդ կետը տեղաշարժվում է մեկ օրով դեպի առաջ: Աստղագետները գարնանային գիշերահավասարի կետի հետ են կապում երկնային հասարակածային կոորդինատների հաշվանքի համակարգը. այդ կետից է սկսվում կոորդինատներից մեկի` ուղղակի ծագման հաշվարկը:
Մեր՝ հայերիս կողմից ամենասիրված եկեղեցական շարժական տոներից մեկի` Զատիկի օրվա հաշվարկը նույնպես կապված է գարնանային գիշերահավասարի հետ: Ամեն տարի Զատիկի օրը գարնանային գիշերահավասարին հաջորդող առաջին լիալուսնից հետո եկող կիրակին է, և այս տարի այն նշվելու է ապրիլի 9-ին:
Նախկինում գարնանային գիշերահավասարի օրը Հայաստանում համարվում էր տարվա սկիզբ։ Որոշ իսլամական երկրներում (մասնավորապես Իրանում) գարնանային գիշերահավասարի օրը ներկայումս էլ համարվում է նոր տարվա սկիզբը (Նովրուզ), որն ի դեպ ծագում է դեռ զրադաշտական կրոնի ժամանակներից և շուրջ 3000 տարվա պատմություն ունի:
