SOCIETYՉինաստանի Շանսի լեռը վերածվել է տեխնոլոգիական հրաշքի։ 81 կմ երկարությամբ արևային էլեկտրակայանը տարածվում է լեռան գրեթե ամբողջ տարածքով և ապացուցում Չինաստանի հավատարմությունը կանաչ էներգիայի աղբյուրների աննախադեպ աճին։
Նահանգի միլիոնավոր բնակարանային տնտեսություններ այլևս կարող են հանգիստ լինել իրենց էներգիայի համար։ 80 կիլոմետրանոց կայանը ունակ է մինչև 4 միլիոն տնտեսությունների անխափան ապահովել էներգիայով ողջ տարվա ընթացքում, թեև լեռը բավականին բարձր է և ցուրտ, սակայն արևային վահանակներն այնպես են տեղադրվել, որ տարվա գրեթե բոլոր եղանակներին և կլիմայական պայմաններում արևային էներգիայի արտադրության հոսքը չի դադարում։
Արեգակնային հզորությունների արագ ընդլայնման շնորիվ Չինաստանը դարձել է աշխարհում արևային էներգիայի ամենամեծ արտադրողը, իսկ սարքավորումների և վահանակների արտադրությամբ Չինաստանը գրեթե մենաշնորհ է ձևակերպել ողջ աշխարհում, նույնիսկ Միացյալ նահանգները ստիպված են մեծ քանակությամբ վահանակներ և սարքավորումներ գնել Չինաստանից, քանի որ չեն կարողանում ապահովել իրենց անհրաժեշտ կարիքները, իսկ Չինաստանը ոչ միայն ապահովում է սեփական երկրի բոլոր կարիքները, այլև պատրաստ է վահանակներ և մարտկոցներ առաքել աշխարհի երկրների մեծ մասին։
Հայաստանը արևային վահանակներ արտադրող ընդամենը մեկ ընկերություն ունի՝ «Սոլարոնը», մեր երկիրը ևս բարձր լեռնային երկիր է և հարկավոր է օգտագործել այդ հանգամանքը արևային էներգիայի կայաններ կառուցելու համար։ Կարևորը, սակայն, ոչ այնքան գումարն է, որը անհրաժեշտության դեպքում հնարավոր է գտնել և սարքավորումները, այլ իշխանությունների քաղաքական կամքը և արևային էներգիան զարգացնելու ռազմավարությունը։
