Մարտի 26-ին՝ ժամը 16:44-ին, ԱԻ պետական ծառայության «911» ճգնաժամային կառավարման կենտրոն Ստեփանակերտ քաղաքի բնակչից ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ Ստեփանակերտ քաղաքի Տ. Մեծի 33 շենքի բնակարաններից մեկում հրդեհ է բռնկվել, անհրաժեշտ է փրկարարների օգնությունը, հայտնում է ԱՀ ՆԳՆ արտակարգ իրավիճակների պետական ծառայությունը։
Բնակչությանն անհրաժեշտ օգնություն ցուցաբերելու նպատակով անմիջապես դեպքի վայր են մեկնել հրշեջ-փրկարարական մեկ մարտական հաշվարկ և արագ արձագանքման հատուկ ստորաբաժանման հերթապահ օպերատիվ խումբը:
Տեղ հասնելուց պարզվել է, որ բնակելի տան պատշգամբում կենցաղում օգտագործվող գազի բալոնից գազը արտահոսել և ստեղծել է հրդեհավտանգ իրավիճակ։ Հրշեջ փրկարարները վերացրել են վտանգը, ցուցումներ տվել գազի բալոնից ճիշտ օգտվելու կանոնների վերաբերյալ։ Բարեբախտաբար, ոչ ոք չի տուժել։
