Ֆուտբոլի մեկնաբան Էդուարդ Քալանթարյանն անդրադարձել է օրեր առաջ Ֆուտբոլի Հայաստանի ֆեդերացիայի նախագահ Արմեն Մելիքբեկյանի հայտարարությանը:

«Այո, ես գտնում եմ, որ «Փյունիկի» ֆուտբոլիստ Հովհաննես Հարությունյանը պիտի լինի Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի հայտացուցակում։ Ես գտնում եմ, որ այդ ֆուտբոլիստը ունի անհրաժեշտ որակներ առնվազն մրցակցություն ապահովելու համար, էլ չեմ ասում, որ նա ինչ-որ մի պահի կարող է հայտնվել դաշտում: Սա համարել օգնություն Թուրքիայի հավաքականին, ես ուղղակի չգիտեմ արդեն՝ սա ինչի գագաթնակետն է: Եթե մենք հանկարծ փորձենք մրցել Թուրքիայի հավաքականին կամ թուրքերին աջակցության հարցում, ես ուղղակի ջախջախիչ պարտություն կկրեմ: Ես անգամ մրցակցության մեջ չեմ ցանկանում մտնել։»,- ասել է Քալանթարյանը:

Հիշեցնենք, որ Արմեն Մելիքբեկյանը միտք էր հայտնել, թե վերջերս «Առաջին ալիքի» եթերում կարծիք է հնչել, թե Ֆուտբոլի ֆեդերացիան է խոհուրդ տալիս Ալեքսանդր Պետրակովին «Փյունիկ» ֆուտբոլային ակումբի ներկայացուցիչներին չհրավիրել ազգային հավաքական:

Հիշեցնենք նաև, որ ՀՖՖ նախագահի ու «Փյունիկի» հարաբերությունները շարունակում են լարված մնալ։ «Փյունիկի» սեփականատեր Արթուր Սողոմոնյանն իր հարցազրույցում պահանջել էր Արմեն Մելիքբեկյանի հրաժարականը։

«Չասեմ՝ ինչեր է եղել ժամանակին, Դուք ինքներդ շատ լավ գիտեք՝ ինչ աջակցություն է եղել Թուրքիային ոչ թե իմ, այլ հենց Ձեր կողմից։ Հետևաբար ես հորդորում եմ արձագանքել իմ հրավերներն։ Ես բազմիցս ունեցել եմ առիթ Ձեզ հրավիրելու հարցազրույցի, Դուք միշտ հրաժաարվել եք: Այս անգամ էլ եմ հրավիրում, հարցազրույցը կլինի ուղիղ եթերում, կլինենք միայն ես և Դուք»,- ասել է Քալանթարյանը։
